Obama signs spending bill; CNN says Congress ends year in ‘complete disarray’

The USA has has been dealing with another debt-related spending crisis:

President Barack Obama has signed a bill that provides a two-day extension of government funding and temporarily averts a partial federal government shutdown.

Both houses of Congress approved the heavily fought-over spending measure late Thursday, with just minutes to go before the midnight deadline.

The Senate now has until Saturday at midnight to approve a wider spending measure.

The Senate is expected follow the lead of the House of Representatives, which on Thursday passed the $1.1 trillion spending bill that funds the government through September 2015.

Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner warned lawmakers that if they did not pass a bill Thursday — even a temporary measure to fund the government — they would have to stay in Washington until Christmas (December 25).

Lawmakers from both sides and President Obama urged passage, even though conservative Republicans were angry over what was not in the bill and liberal Democrats were upset over what was there.

Conservatives said the measure does not block Obama from taking executive action on immigration.

For weeks, legislative leaders insisted another shutdown wouldn’t happen. And it didn’t. But the House was just two hours away, and the Senate might not cast its final votes until this weekend. …

After November’s elections, when the GOP won the Senate and expanded its majority in the House, party leaders claimed a mandate. Soon-to-be Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has pledged that with Republicans in control of both chambers come January, things will be different. More amendments will be allowed. “Center-right” legislation will advance.

But long-clear divisions on the right remain — and were evident in the House when 16 Republicans, many angry that the party hadn’t fought harder to block Obama’s executive action on immigration, opposed the measure in a key procedural vote and nearly dealt their leaders a major blow. By the end of the night, 67 Republicans voted against the measure’s final passage. …

“We’ve seen the same pattern … Now Obamacare is funded. Now Obama’s executive amnesty is funded,” Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, said on Fox News. Alongside him, Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minnesota, called the vote “disrespectful” to midterm voters.

I almost started the post today with the words, “And the debt goes on and the debt goes on” as that is what happened again.

This debt and ‘disarray’ is affecting the USA and how the world views it.

A day of reckoning for the USA will occur:

3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry…5 Indeed, because he transgresses by wine, He is a proud man… 6 “Will not all these take up a proverb against him, And a taunting riddle against him, and say, ‘Woe to him who increases What is not his–how long? And to him who loads himself with many pledges’? 7 Will not your creditors rise up suddenly? Will they not awaken who oppress you? And you will become their booty. 8 Because you have plundered many nations, All the remnant of the people shall plunder you. Because of men’s blood And the violence of the land and the city, And of all who dwell in it. (Habakkuk 2:3,5,6-8, NKJV unless otherwise noted).

The USA has more debt, more pledges, than any nation in the history of humanity and the above prophecy does apply to it and will be fulfilled.

The Bible also teaches the following:

13 “Behold, therefore, I beat My fists at the dishonest profit which you have made, and at the bloodshed which has been in your midst. 14 Can your heart endure, or can your hands remain strong, in the days when I shall deal with you? I, the Lord, have spoken, and will do it. 15 I will scatter you among the nations, disperse you throughout the countries, and remove your filthiness completely from you. 16 You shall defile yourself in the sight of the nations; then you shall know that I am the Lord. (Ezekiel 22:13-16)

The dishonest profits that the USA has generated for years have to do with how it is pumping more and more un-backed currency into the international market through debt and other means and has been living off of this.

It should also be mentioned that the type of ‘New World Order’ that the Bible tells of will be European-led:

2 Daniel spoke, saying, “I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the Great Sea. 3 And four great beasts came up from the sea, each different from the other. 4 The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings. I watched till its wings were plucked off; and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand on two feet like a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.

5 “And suddenly another beast, a second, like a bear. It was raised up on one side, and had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. And they said thus to it: ‘Arise, devour much flesh!’

6 “After this I looked, and there was another, like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird. The beast also had four heads, and dominion was given to it.

7 “After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. (Daniel 7:2-7)

The “Great Sea” that bordered the ancient lands of Israel (Joshua 9:1; 23:4; Ezekiel 47:13-16) is the Mediterranean Sea–and that is the sea that Daniel was referring to. Despite some false claims by some, the Beast power is not a nation like Russia, which does not border the Mediterranean Sea, but Europe which does.

Notice more about the coming Beast power that rule a new world order:

1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. 2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” (Revelation 13:1-4)

Although Russia, China, and others will likely provide assistance to aspects of the rise of Europe, they of themselves will NOT be the leaders of the Beast powers discussed in Revelation 13.

Will this happen in 2015? Not quite that early as certain biblically-required events have not yet happened (watch also Can the Great Tribulation Begin in 2015?).

The Apostle Peter wrote:

19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts (2 Peter 1:19, KJV).

We all need to rely on understanding events in the light of prophecy as, “the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy” (Revelation 19:10).

The time will come when the USA and its dollar will collapse. The increase of debt and half-measures to get by will not work indefinitely.

As Jesus said:

37 And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!” (Mark 13:37)

We do need too watch, but we also need to watch based upon the Bible.

A long-time financial adviser named Harvey Organ claims that claims that because of insufficient gold in the central banks of USA and UK, that Shanghai would bring about exposing this and that this would lead to a massive, overnight, rise in the price of gold and silver, diminished value of their currencies. He states a market collapse will occur before the end of 2014, that the petroyuan will replace the petrodollar, and that a Chinese led New World Order will be in place for 2015. Is this possible?
