Stephanie Gräfin von Bismarck Schönhausen zu Guttenberg made the news for blasting pop singers like Lady Gaga:

Stephanie zu Guttenberg, the wife of German Defence Minister Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg, on Tuesday attacked the sexed-up, porn-influenced style of pop stars such as Lady Gaga and Rihanna and their potentially harmful influence on children.

“When I see nine-year-old girls are already watching Top Model-style shows on television or excitedly discussing the new video clip from Lady Gaga – with black leather corset, suspenders and naked bottom cheeks – then I am really worried about the female role models these children are growing up with,”…wrote…the 33-year-old the great-great-granddaughter of Germany’s Chancellor Otto von Bismarck…

“Cultural experts call the look of the noughties ‘porno chic’ – and artists like Madonna, Christina Aguilera, Rihanna or Britney Spears actually do sometimes appear in their videos or performances as characters in such films,” she wrote. (The Local, 14 September 2010.  http://www.thelocal.de/society/20100914-29803.html)

And Stephanie Gräfin von Bismarck Schönhausen zu Guttenberg is totally correct.  Singers like Lady Gaga intentionally wear sexually provocative outfits and often promote an anti-biblical morality message (Matthew 5:27-28).  And Lady Gaga and others like her should not do that (cf. Luke 17:1-2).

But there is another reason that I am reporting this here.  And that is that the news item involves Stephanie zu Guttenberg.  To me, is that it is interesting that Stephanie zu Guttenberg has publicly been taking what can be described as moral stands. She has spoken out on other moral issues in the past, like the sex scandals involving Catholic priests (see Guttenberg Held a Meeting for Many International Defense Ministers).

I have suspected for some that that her husband may also take what many will consider to be moral stands as well.  Stephanie zu Guttenberg’s doing so may help pave the way for him to do so as well.  It will also get people in Germany and elsewhere to consider that the Guttenbergs have a highly “moral” family.  And even though Stephanie zu Guttenberg is a Lutheran, her comments on moral issues may strike a cord with Catholics, as they too should be in opposition to the type of immoral displays from popular stars like Lady Gaga.  And Karl zu Guttenberg, some type of Catholic, apparently agrees with his wife making such statements.

As time goes on, there is a chance that Karl zu Guttenberg may eventually help establish some type a new religious order that he will claim will be within the Catholic faith.  If he does, I believe that there is a high probability that he may fulfill the prophetic role of the final King of the North of Daniel 11 and the Beast power of Revelation 13.  Eastern Orthodox (Tzima Otto, H.  The Great Monarch and WWIII in Orthodox, Roman Catholic, and Scriptural Prophecies. Verenika Press, Rock City (SC), 2000, pp. 17,33,42,48,53) and Catholic (Culleton, R. Gerald.  The Prophets and Our Times. Nihil Obstat: L. Arvin.  Imprimatur: Philip G. Scher, Bishop of Monterey-Fresno, November 15, 1941.  Reprint 1974, TAN Books, Rockford (IL), p. 195) prophecies about the “Great Monarch” support the idea that one who maintains a certain Catholic form of morality will lead Europe.  Here is one that the Great Monarch:

“was born in this orderly life in order to preserve [safeguard] piety” (Tzima Otto, p. 48).

Taking stands against immorality would be consistent with attempting to “preserve piety”.  The “Great Monarch” is also supposed to rise up during the time there are “very impious priests” (Tzima Otto, p. 53)–which would be consistent with the whole sex scandal issue among the Catholic priesthood (see also Might Vatican Sex Scandals Fulfill Catholic Prophecy?).

It should be added that other Eastern Orthodox and Catholic prophecies suggest that the “Great Monarch” may become the Beast/King of the North.

Stephanie zu Guttenberg’s statements do not mean that her husband will fill that role (he may not).  But if Karl zu Guttenberg does, her comments are consistent with those that would be expected to support such a leader.
