The economic news in most parts of the world has been somewhat dismal lately, but there is some better news today for the nation of Israel:

This is interesting for many reasons, including the fact that last year, gas reserves were found off the coast of Israel (see Some Better Economic News for Israel).

The nation of Israel has had a lot of bad news, and could stand some good news.  But any good news there is not biblically expected to be for very long.
