10th Century Representation of Gospel Writer Luke

COGwriter

The Continuing Church of God is pleased to announce its latest sermon which is at its ContinuingCOG channel:

This is the eighth sermon in a multi-part sermon series by Dr. Thiel covering the Gospel account credited to Luke. This sermon covers chapters 21 through 22. Dr.Thiel discusses giving by the poor and the rich, sorrows, persecution, tribulation, the parable of the fig tree, Passover, the eucharist, violence, and Jesus’ betrayal. Dr. Thiel mentions that various ones do not accept the prophecies in Luke 21 as future events, but believe that they were fulfilled in 70 A.D.–something Dr. Thiel says the Bible disagrees with.  He also explains why the formation of the nation of Israel in 1948 should not be considered the fulfillment of Luke 21:29-33.
