Two Prophecies in Daniel that Have Come to Pass

There are many people who ignore biblical prophecies.  But the reality is that many have come to pass.   Jesus, for example, was prophesied to come, to be born in Bethlehem, to suffer, etc.

Scoffers have often claimed that the Book of Daniel was written AFTER the various kingdoms that are prophesied in it arose.  Some apparently feel that it was simply too accurate.

But the truth is that it was and is.

But now, let’s focus on two prophecies, both in the same portion of the Book of Daniel:

4 “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” (Daniel 12:4, NKJV)

With the advent of jet travel, human beings have traveled more than anyone in Daniel’s day could have imagined, unless inspired by God.

Furthermore, with the advent of computers, and then the internet, there has been a near explosive increase in knowledge.

These prophecies in the Book of Daniel are being fulfilled right now.  And since are to be fulfilled in the time of the end, then we are in the last days of the end.

Others prophecies in Daniel are about to be fulfilled as well.

Perhaps I should mention that even scoffers of biblical prophecies were also foretold:

1 Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder), 2 that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, 3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.  (2 Peter 3:1-7, NKJV)

But we in the true church should have a ” sure word of prophecy” (2 Peter 1:19, KJV)–and many more events will come to pass.

Bible prophecy can be relied upon.

The following two articles, which include many of Daniel’s prophecies, will shortly come to pass:

Who is the King of the North? Is there one? Do biblical and Roman Catholic prophecies point to the same leader? Should he be followed? Who will be the King of the North discussed in Daniel 11? Is a nuclear attack prophesied to happen to the English-speaking peoples of the United States, Great Britain, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand? When do the 1335 days, 1290 days, and 1260 days (the time, times, and half a time) of Daniel 12 begin? When does the Bible show that economic collapse will affect the United States?
Can the Great Tribulation Begin in 2010, 2011, or 2012? Can the Great Tribulation begin today? What happens before the Great Tribulation in the “beginning of sorrows”? Does Daniel 9 provide clues?  What happens in the Great Tribulation and the Day of the Lord? When is the earliest that the Great Tribulation can begin? What is the Day of the Lord?
