EU makes world’s largest ‘free trade deal’ as some see EU moving towards totalitarian fascism
The German press reported the following:
EU parliament approves ‘world’s largest’ free trade deal with Japan
12 December 2018
The European Parliament on Wednesday approved a free trade agreement between Japan and the EU, covering 635 million people and almost one-third of the world’s economy.
Dubbed the world’s largest free trade agreement, the EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement will remove duties on almost all agriculture and industrial products as well as open up the service sector and procurement. It also moves to eliminate non-tariff barriers to trade.
“Almost five centuries after Europeans established the first trade ties with Japan, the entry into force of the EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement will bring our trade, political and strategic relationship to a whole new level,” European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said.
“Our economic partnership with Japan – the biggest trade zone ever negotiated – is now very close to becoming a reality. Notice that Europe, not the USA, just made the world’s largest free trade agreement. Europe is moving on its own, and independent of the US and UK.
The Bible shows that Europe will, relatively soon, dominate world trade, for a time (cf. Revelation 18).
This will essentially involve a dictatorial power rising up in Europe per Revelation 13:1-10 and a reorganization per Revelation 17:12-13.

Both Macron and Merkel have talked, recently, of the need for an EU Army – will these protests in France be used as an excuse to implement those plans?

If Brexit is ruled a “threat to human rights” (or some other collection of buzzwords), would the EU army be rolling armoured vehicles along the streets of London to protect us from ourselves?
There have been, and could be, many situations in the EU’s recent past where military intervention was only avoided because it literally wasn’t an option. An EU Army would make it an option, do we trust Brussels not to avail themselves of it? …

Brexit will be a factor for the end of the UK. Donald Trump is a factor pushing Europe to one day end the USA. And Canada, as a strong ally of the USA and UK will essentially be collateral damage.
European leaders have been openly calling for a European army and a European empire (see Donald Trump lashes out against Europe defending itself–Europeans pushing for an empire). Although leaders in the UK and USA have opposed this, the Bible shows it will happen:
25 “He shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the South with a great army. (Daniel 11:25)
The “He” is identified as the final prophesied European King of the North in Daniel 11:40 (watch also Can You Prove that the Beast to Come is European?).

PESCO and a Great European Army
In November 2018, French President Macron called for a “true European army” because of China, Russia, and the USA. Some others in Europe have echoed that sentiment. On November 9, 2018, US President Donald Trump called that an insult, but the next day said that the USA wanted “a very strong Europe.” Emmanuel Macron referred to Donald Trump as “my friend” and indicated a desire to strengthen Europe’s military spending. In December 2017, 25 European nations agreed to be part of a military alliance called PESCO. Europe also has NATO and IEI. Will Europe end up with “a great army”? Has Donald Trump’s announcement to withdraw from the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty gotten some to say that Europe must rebel against the USA? Is the idea of a United States of Europe and a European army a “paranoid fantasy” or a biblical reality? Will the USA regret Europe becoming a stronger military power? Will the USA be betrayed by “friends” such as its continental European allies? Does the Bible teach any or all of this? Note that in Lamentations 1:1-2, it indicates that the USA will be betrayed and destroyed militarily by its “friends.” Europe does not have to be stronger in all areas than the USA and the UK, only enough to win when the USA is not expecting it.
The late Herbert W. Armstrong wrote about its timing and how he thought it would begin:
World War 3 brings with it THE GREAT TRIBULATION. That is now next in order. Notice that the UK, USA, and Canada are mentioned in the above writing.
Even the secular writer Kit Knight expressed concerns that Europe may one day attack London again.

The EU wants one continent, no separate countries …
This issue, in case it’s unclear, is all about Globalism. According to that totalitarian political philosophy, of which the EU is a standard bearer, there are no nations. There are only mega-corporations and banks.
As the departed guru of the Rockefeller Trilateral Commission, Zbigniew Brzezinski, wrote in 1969, “[The] nation state as a fundamental unit of man’s organized life has ceased to be the principal creative force. International banks and multinational corporations are acting and planning in terms that are far in advance of the political concepts of the nation state.”
This is not only a political and economic statement, it’s a prescriptive piece of psychological advice: Stop thinking of yourself as a citizen of a country; you’re a global citizen; you exist and function at the pleasure of a new collaborative international order.
And the new order will triumph. …
Trade deals like USMCA, NAFTA, CAFTA, and GATT are only part of this system. The EU itself keeps churning out thousands of rules, regulations, and laws.
Build the maze; put national governments and populations in the maze.
Then more or less claim the planet would collapse without the maze. …

Despite the lack of real unity in Europe, which was prophesied (cf. Daniel 2:41-43), Europe will reorganize:
12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. (Revelation 17:12-13, NKJV throughout unless otherwise specified)
These ten kings have no kingdom, but are to attain one. Thus, this is a type of reorganization away from nation states. The biblical fact that these ‘kings’ had no kingdom prior to becoming kings also helps prove that this is not a reference to ten currently existing nations. Furthermore, the term translated in English as “kingdoms” from the Greek in Revelation 17:12, basileín (Greek characters βασιλεíαν), means “royal administrations” (Ibid, pp. 168-169) and, hence, is not specifically referring to existing nations.
The above will essentially eliminate nation-states as Jon Rappoport is concerned about.
Europe will become the prophesied totalitarian state under control of the Beast.
Some in the secular press are seeing some of this.
