The Bible tells of a time when the descendants of Jacob (including the USA and its Anglo-Saxon descended allies) will have trouble (Jeremiah 30:7), whereas the Bible also tells about the rise of the Gentiles:

25… Gentiles, who do not know You…they have eaten up Jacob, Devoured him and consumed him, And made his dwelling place desolate. (Jeremiah 10:25)

23 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. 24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. (Luke 21:23-24)

2 But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months. (Revelation 11:2)

While not all of the ambitions of the Eurasian Economic Union will likely be realized, its goal of getting greater union among Eurasian nations, economically, politically, and even militarily will happen (see also the article, Asia in Prophecy).

Although Russia is NOT prophesied to takeover the USA directly, (Europe is; cf. Daniel 11:39; Revelation 13:4), it may well end up with parts of the USA (like Alaska) and maybe parts of Canada if it makes a timely deal with the Europeans (see Russia and Ukraine: Their Origins and Prophesied Future).  A deal that would not last.

In the Book of Jeremiah, it is shown that a northern people (which most logically would seem to be Russia) will be part of the force that concerns and then eventually invades, end time Babylon (which will be a European power):

50:41 “Behold, a people shall come from the north,
And a great nation and many kings
Shall be raised up from the ends of the earth.
42 They shall hold the bow and the lance;
They are cruel and shall not show mercy.
Their voice shall roar like the sea;
They shall ride on horses,
Set in array, like a man for the battle,
Against you, O daughter of Babylon.

43 “The king of Babylon has heard the report about them,
And his hands grow feeble;
Anguish has taken hold of him,
Pangs as of a woman in childbirth…”(Jeremiah 50:41-43).

3 O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal…6 from the far north and all its troops–many people are with you (Ezekiel 38:3,6).

Thus, the Bible shows that the European empire (the “daughter of Babylon”) is to be destroyed by a northern (apparently Russian led) force. And probably one that cooperates with nations in the East, as well as maybe Iran, and possibly the Ukraine. (While the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38 is later, the fact that it refers to the peoples of the FAR NORTH shows that there is a power further north than the final European King of the North of Daniel 11). Notice that a people from the north (Russia in this case) will be part of a confederation of many kings raised up from the ends of the earth.  These “ends of the earth” kings would seemingly have to include Asian nations such as India and China, which while not currently part of the EEU (though both have expressed interest), are already involved with many military and trade agreements with Russia, hence by extension have some connection to the actual Eurasian Economic Union.

But let this be perfectly clear, Europe will arise and the USA and its Anglo-Saxon descended allies will fall, years before Jeremiah 50:41-43 is fulfilled.

One of the results of Western sanctions against Russia related to Ukraine is that they are pushing Russia to look more to the East than the West. While the West is focused a lot this week on stock markets (including China’s), major economic realignments are usually more prophetically significant. Russia is also noticing these developments and is looking to isolate itself more from what goes on in the West.

Many Gentile nations are trying to get together and the final time of the Gentiles is getting closer.  The time of fall of the Anglo-Saxon descended nations is getting closer.
