Israel bombed Gaza today and apparently bombed Syria a day or two ago:

JERUSALEM (AP) — Israeli aircraft bombed what the military described as a “terror tunnel” used by Hamas in Gaza and the militant Palestinian group said three of its fighters were killed in the strike early Friday.

(CNN) — Israeli warplanes struck a military base near the Syrian port city of Latakia this week, an Obama administration official told CNN on Thursday.

An explosion at a missile storage site in the area was reported in the Middle Eastern press, but an attack has not been confirmed by the Israeli government.

The target, according to the Obama administration official, was missiles and related equipment the Israelis felt might be transferred to the Lebanon-based militant group Hezbollah. http://www.cnn.com/2013/10/31/world/meast/syria-civil-war/

Speaking anonymously Thursday, U.S. officials said the target of the Israeli airstrike was likely Russian missiles headed for the Islamic militant group Hezbollah…Neither Israeli nor Syrian officials have confirmed the attack on the Syrian air base, which was hit late Wednesday or early Thursday. I was in Israel until this past Sunday. On Monday of this week, attacks were launched from Gaza into Israel. On Wednesday or Thursday, Israel apparently bombed Syria, and today Gaza. Violence continues in many places throughout the world. We need to pray, “Thy Kingdom Come!”

The situation in the Middle East will change. A multi-national Arab/Turkish confederation will form and will turn against Israel (Psalm 83).

While Israel and the Middle East continues as a hot bed of activity, the USA continues more and more to show that the morality of its leadership has been tainted. Notice, for one example in the news, the following:

The government of the USA is attempting to force the homosexual agenda on everyone they think they can. The time is fast approaching when the USA, despite its military strength (cf. Daniel 11:39) will be no more.

As far as the Middle East goes, as I have written for some time, it will likely take some type of regional war for the apparent peace deal of Daniel 9:27 to take place. The current actions between Israel and Hamas will likely be a factor. At minimum, the actions are enraging much of the Arab world.

At some point in time, the Bible shows that the nations of North Africa and the Middle East will form a confederation, involving Egypt (Ezekiel 30:1-9), under the leadership of one the Bible refers to as the final King of the South (Daniel 11:40-43). The dislike that many of the Arab states have for each other is sometimes less than the hatred that they (or their people) tend to have for the nation of Israel.

Thus, conflicts like this (and especially if Syria is sufficiently involved) that lead to destruction (cf. Isaiah 17:1) may be the motivating force for both a “peace deal” as well directly or indirectly for the formation of the North African/Middle East confederation that the Bible shows will happen in the end time (cf. Daniel 11:40-43).
