WND: Genuine wickedness is openly manifesting in ‘land of the free’

World Net Daily had a link titled Genuine wickedness is openly manifesting in ‘land of the free’ that led to the following:

Although it’s currently experiencing a full frontal attack, for decades the United States of America has been under covert, slow-motion assault by the revolutionary Left, a religious-political movement fundamentally at war with both Christianity and America. …

Consider that in the past year the radical Left – with whose cause Big Media, Big Tech, Big Education, Big Hollywood and the entire Democratic Party totally identify – has succeeded in: …

* inciting violent Marxist revolutionaries to riot, vandalize, loot and burn America’s major cities;

* abandoning their former “safe, legal and rare” stance on abortion in favor of wanton celebration of late-term abortion up to the moment of birth and beyond;

* encouraging innocent children to irreversibly ruin their lives by chemically (and sometimes surgically) “transitioning” to the opposite sex – a scientific impossibility;

* using the COVID pandemic as a cover for imposing unprecedented totalitarian control over Americans; and

* gaslighting an entire nation by perpetrating the most wide-ranging, egregious and in-your-face election fraud in U.S. history while pretending disenfranchised American voters who simply want a fair and impartial investigation are the crazy ones, “trying to steal the election from Joe Biden.”

And that’s just for starters.

As America’s once-great middle class becomes crushed through endless COVID lockdowns, a wealthy and privileged globalist elite is not only growing ever richer and more powerful, but also strategically deploying COVID as a pretext for engineering what they call a “Great Reset” of the world – replacing capitalism with socialism. This is neither conspiracy theory nor partisan conjecture; the “Reset” movement’s leaders openly brag about it.

So now comes the big question: With such genuine wickedness openly manifesting in “the land of the free,” so much that it evokes the Apostle Paul’s admonitions about “powers and principalities” and “spiritual wickedness in high places,” what can good Americans do about the precarious state of their country?01/11/21 https://www.wnd.com/2021/01/tribulation-redemption-america/

Irrespective of how you viewed the US presidential election, more evil is coming as various leaders have proposed pushing more abortions, more of the LBGTQ+ agenda, more debt, more government controls, and less religious freedom.

The US should not be considered to the “the land of the free.”

Before getting to what to do related to evil, notice the following from the New Testament about evil in the end times:

13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. (2 Timothy 3:13, KJV)

12 … they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2:12, NKJV throughout unless otherwise specified)

Not only is there prophesied an increase in deceit, the Bible prophecies totalitarian controls (cf. Revelation 13).

Should Christians just go along to get along with our evil society?

No.

2 You shall not follow a crowd to do evil … (Exodus 23:2)

27 Depart from evil, and do good; And dwell forevermore. (Psalm 37:27)

4 … But if you do evil, be afraid … (Romans 13:4)

33 Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.” 34 Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame. (1 Corinthians 15:33-34)

15 “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, 16 in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess. … 19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; (Deuteronomy 30:15-16, 19)

Evil will not end well:

21 Evil shall slay the wicked, And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned. (Psalm 34:21)

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.  (Romans 1:28-32)

The 34th Psalm also tells God’s people what to do related to evil. The following is the version of the 34th Psalm in the Bible Hymnal written by the late Dwight Armstrong:

Turn thou from evil, do what is good, Seek peace pursue it earnestly.
Upon the just are the eyes of God, His ears are open unto their cry.
But the Eternal’s face is against Them that are evil, doers of wrong.
He cuts remembrance off from them, Cuts their remembrance from the earth.

When righteous men cry, God always hears; For He delivereth them from fears.
Near unto them of a broken heart, Contrite of spirit God saveth them.
Many afflictions that we do have, Troubles there be of righteous men;
But the Eternal delivereth Out from afflictions the righteous man.

Turn thou from evil, do what is good, Seek peace pursue it earnestly.
God keeps the bones of the righteous man, Not one of them shall broken be.
Tho’ evil slay all unrighteous men, Who hates the pure shall desolate be;
But God redeemeth the soul that’s His, None shall be desolate trusting Him.

What else should Christians do?

One of them would be to pray.

For what?

9 In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. (Matthew 6:9-13)

1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:1-5)

Yes, pray for the Kingdom of God to come. Pray for leaders.

For more on prayer, see the free online book: Prayer: What Does the Bible Teach?

Notice also:

15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil. (Ephesians 5:15-16)

11 Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God. (3 John 11)

You redeem the time in “this present evil age” (Galatians 1:4) by living as a Christian, despite negative outside influences and by doing good. For more on that, see the free online book: Christians: Ambassadors for the Kingdom of God, Biblical instructions on living as a Christian.

We also redeem the time by loving others and working to fulfill the commissions that Jesus gave the church in Matthew 24:14 and 28:19-20 and Revelation 3:7-13 (see also The Philadelphia Church Era).

It is NOT just avoiding evil that Christians are to do–they are to do good and be HOT and not LUKEWARM about the work of God (Revelation 3:14-22; see also The Laodicean Church Era).
