A United Nations inspector is reporting that Iran is in violation of its nuclear treaty:

The move is the latest breach of the nuclear accord as Iran seeks to bolster its leverage before possible negotiations with the Biden administration.

The U.N. atomic agency said Wednesday that Iran has started to produce uranium metal, marking the latest breach of the 2015 nuclear agreement by Tehran.
Inspectors for the International Atomic Energy Agency, or IAEA, verified on Feb. 8 that Iran had produced a small amount of uranium metal at a nuclear plant in Isfahan, the agency’s spokesman, Fredrik Dahl, said in an email. In a report to member states, IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi informed the agency’s member states about the development.
The material can be used to build the core of a nuclear weapon. JERUSALEM (Reuters) – Israel held out the possibility on Tuesday that it would not engage with U.S. President Joe Biden on strategy regarding the Iranian nuclear programme, urging tougher sanctions and a “credible military threat” against its arch-enemy.
The remarks by Israel’s envoy to Washington came at a touchy juncture for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Up for re-election next month, he has revived his hard line on Iran while not yet having any direct communication with Biden.
The new administration has said it wants a U.S. return to a 2015 nuclear deal with Tehran – which former President Donald Trump quit, restoring sanctions – if the Iranians recommit to their own obligations. Washington has also said it wants to confer with allies in the Middle East about such moves.
“We will not be able to be part of such a process if the new administration returns to that deal,” Ambassador Gilad Erdan told Israel’s Army Radio. …

If Israel does not support the Biden-Harris Administration, it risks not getting US intelligence and/or military support should it be attacked by Iran–and such an attack is prophesied to cause it “great damage” (Isaiah 22:6-8).
As far as the immediate situation with Iran goes, notice something I warned about what became the current ‘deal’ on November 24, 2013:
What this deal really does is give Iran some economic relief and time to upgrade its technology, while it agrees to get rid of some of its underdeveloped nuclear waste and centrifuges. This, in theory at least, will give Iran more money and more time to work on its nuclear technology, (Iran makes nuclear deal that Obama praises: Israel and Saudi Arabia are not pleased)

An ‘interim’ deal is in place that apparently will allow Iran to tap into some of its foreign bank accounts and/or lift some of the economic sanctions against it. The deal will mean that Iran will give up some of its older nuclear centrifuges and enriched uranium. And if you believe Iran and the USA government, it also means that Iran will not be developing nuclear weapons at this time. Iran has announced having more new nuclear centrifuges and other developments since then. Evidence has also come out that its nuclear intentions have not clearly been entirely peaceful (see Iranian report suggests Iran has wanted nuclear weapons because of the mystical 12th Imam).

In comments first reported in Iranian state TV on Tuesday, Intelligence Minister Mahmoud Alavi emphasized, “Our Nuclear Industry is strictly peaceful. Iran’s supreme leader said in a fatwah that producing nuclear weapons is against Islamic norms, is haram.”
But then the powerful intelligence chief pivoted to a “threat” at a moment of continued standoff with the Biden administration over the restoration of the JCPOA nuclear deal:
“I will only say this: if a cat is backed into a corner, it might behave the way it wouldn’t while free. If Iran is pushed in that direction, it will not be Iran’s fault. Under the regular circumstances, Iran has no such plans,” he said.

Iran said on Monday that it could block some inspections of its nuclear sites in a move that would further complicate Washington’s hopes of reviving the 2015 nuclear accord with global powers. The Islamic republic would stop snap visits by the International Atomic Energy Agency of its nuclear sites unless the US lifted sanctions, an official in Tehran said. Iran is a place in the past couple of years I would associate with rumors of war.

We may very well see a regional war as Israel has 1) taken preemptive actions in the past and 2) has said it would do so in the future to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear bomb.
But, this may not end well for Israel (cf. Isaiah 22:6-8) nor Iran (cf. Ezekiel 32:24-25).
