Speaking with The Telegraph<\/em>, a right-of-center British daily newspaper, Trump called the alliance a \u201cpaper tiger\u201d and said he was \u201cstrongly considering<\/a>\u201d withdrawing from the 32-nation pact. Trump\u2019s comments come after repeated criticisms of NATO member states for not joining the Israeli- and U.S.-led conflict with Iran.<\/p>\n

In the latest developments, Spain, France, and Italy refused U.S. access to their military bases or airspace for military actions against Iran.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was never swayed by NATO<\/a>,\u201d Trump said. \u201cI always knew they were a paper tiger, and [Russian President Vladimir] Putin knows that, too.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thirty of 32 NATO member states<\/a> are in Europe (the U.S. and Canada are the exceptions). Israel is not a member of the alliance.<\/p>\n

The Guardian<\/em>, another U.K. newspaper, said Trump\u2019s remarks represented an \u201cexistential threat\u201d that could be the \u201cworst crisis in NATO history<\/a>.\u201d In Spain, El Pa\u00eds<\/em> said there was \u201cshock and anxiety<\/a> across Europe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Among the European Union\u2019s three largest economies, German media stressed that the Israeli and U.S. bombings of Iranian targets were \u201cnot our war<\/a>\u201d and said it was \u201ccorrect\u201d for the government to reject U.S. demands for support.<\/p>\n

The USA was prophesied to be \u201cgreat\u201d in Genesis 48:19 and is considered by international sources to be great among the nations of the world today.<\/p>\n

The USA is repeatedly pushing its NATO allies in Europe away.<\/p>\n

More and more in Europe are concluding that they must take their own military steps.<\/p>\n

Europe is in the process of building up its own military through the Permanent Structured Cooperation agreement commonly called PESCO. Is Europe trying to develop an empire? What did former Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt say about the need for a European empire? Are Europeans, as well as the Vatican\u2019s Pope Francis, working towards a European utopia? While Europe publicly is still supportive of NATO, in the end Europe will betray the NATO members of the USA, Canada, and UK.<\/p>\n

There are bills being promoted by US politicians in both the US Senate and the US House of Representatives to have the USA leave NATO alliance by 2027. There is also the new National Security Strategy report from the Trump Administration which looks to change NATO. Europe is offended, but is preparing for this to take place. How so? By taking economic (expanding trade relations) and military (by increased spending and added troops) steps And it is the military preparations by Europe that should most concern the United States. Dr. Thiel points out how the fragmented state of the European Union will lead to the reorganization of Europe (Revelation 17:12-13) which will ultimately bring about the rise of the prophesied King of the North (Daniel 11:39-43). Could a blitzkrieg type of an attack under the guise of a NATO-type exercise lead to the conquering of the USA?
