Although US President Donald Trump had positive word’s to say about Brazil’s President Lula de Silva after meeting with him a few days ago, he stated that Brazil would not limit its rare earth minerals to the West:<\/p>\n

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva<\/span><\/a> told US President Donald Trump<\/span><\/a> on Thursday that his country\u2019s rare earth reserves are open to investment from China and any other nation willing to process the minerals on Brazilian soil, resisting pressure to side with Washington in its contest with Beijing over critical mineral supply chains.<\/div>\n

\u201cWe have no preference. What we want is to share with whoever wants to invest in Brazil,\u201d Lula said at a press conference at the Brazilian embassy in Washington after a three-hour meeting with Trump that ran more than an hour past schedule.<\/p>\n

\u201cAmericans, Chinese, Germans, Japanese, French, whoever wants to participate with us to help us mine, separate and produce the wealth that these rare earths offer us, they are invited.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lula said he told Trump that Brazil<\/span><\/a> had approved a new regulatory framework for critical minerals in Congress on the eve of the visit and was treating the sector as a matter of national sovereignty. …<\/p>\n

Brazil holds the world\u2019s second-largest reserves of rare earths and graphite and is the third-largest holder of nickel. \u201cWe require a commitment from these countries that they will neither create a new BRICS currency, nor back any other currency to replace the mighty U.S. dollar or, they will face 100 percent tariffs, and should expect to say goodbye to selling into the wonderful U.S. economy,\u201d the president-elect recently wrote.<\/p>\n

In October, speaking at the Economic Club of Chicago with Bloomberg, Trump warned \u2026 \u201cWe have to have that. We cannot lose it,\u201d Trump said. \u201cYou\u2019ll go to Third World status in this country because you take a look at the way things are running.\u201d (Durden T. Yes, the impact of the USA dollar losing its reserve status would be horrible\u2013and even worse than Donald Trump asserted. And things like 100% tariffs are inflationary.<\/p>\n

The BRICS+ nations, which compose nearly half the population of the world, still want to bypass the US dollar.<\/p>\n

US President-elect Donald Trump has threatened 100 percent tariffs on BRICS nations if they replace the dollar in international trade.<\/p>\n

However, Brazil has indicated that it aims to boost the effort during its presidency of BRICS. President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva\u2019s government has said its objective is the \u201cdevelopment of means of payment\u201d to facilitate trade between member countries.[i]<\/a><\/p>\n

Furthermore, some suspect that more countries in BRICS+ may destroy the \u2018petrodollar\u2019 system that supports the dollar.[ii]<\/a><\/p>\n

The USA dollar will ultimately crash and be worthless. That \u201cpride\u201d of American power will be broken (cf. Leviticus 26:19). …<\/p>\n

European leaders have been working for years to establish a new reserve currency for the world, partially with the intent to remove the USA dollar from its current position as a reserve currency.<\/p>\n

Those in Russia, Iran and some of the Arab lands, along with nations such as Brazil and India have discussed plans for the removal of the dominance of the USA dollar in global trade as well. Many are now working on that, along with China, in what is called the BRICS alliance.[iii]<\/a> While Donald Trump did not cause all of this, an unintended consequence of the use of sanctions in the Trump-Pence Administration (as well as by the Biden-Harris Administration) is that more nations are looking to bypass the dollar.<\/p>\n

Many have complained about the U.S.A. \u201cweaponizing\u201d its dollar through sanctions, bank restrictions, and other means.[i]<\/a> By doing so, the U.S.A. has inadvertently been \u00a0building up a coalition to push aside the dollar\u2014and this will happen when the timing is considered to be better. European leaders have been working for years to establish a new reserve currency for the world, partially with the intent to remove the U.S. dollar from its position as the world\u2019s primary reserve currency. The fact that Europe would develop its own currency, as well as for that purpose, was predicted by Church of God writers no later than 1971[ii]<\/a> \u2013which is over two decades before the euro was officially agreed to.<\/p>\n

Those in Iran and some of the Arab lands, along with nations such as Brazil, China, and India have discussed plans for the removal of the dominance of the U.S.A. in global trade as well. The former (again current) President of Brazil, Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva, even claimed that eliminating the U.S. dollar\u2019s reserve currency status was one of the reasons that the BRICS alliance (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) was formed in the first place. [iii]<\/a> Others have noted that bypassing the USA dollar is still an object of BRICS\u2014and officially BRICS nations \u201care currently working on setting up a new global reserve currency,\u201d[iv]<\/a> which may have gold-backing.[v]<\/a><\/p>\n

While Brazil will cooperate with the USA on certain matters, the BRICS group has long worked to bypass the USA dollar. USA sanctions, tariffs, and other policies have pushed more and more nations away from cooperating with the USA and more towards cooperating with each other.<\/p>\n

Although BRICS will not dominate the world economically like the coming European Beast power will, the BRICS nations and their actions will have major impacts on the world.<\/p>\n

The BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) have as one of their founding goals, to eliminate the need to use USA dollars in cross-border trade. Six additional nations have been invited to join BRICS in 2024, and India reports that six more are also being looked at. The BRICS nations have already began to drop the USA dollar for some cross-border trading with Russia and China indicating that they had almost done so completely in late 2023. What will happen to the economy and value of the USA dollar if more and more nations stop using it as a primary reserve and trading currency? What about hyperinflation? Does the Bible prophesy destruction for a highly indented nation in the end time? Is the USA the most indebted nation of all time? What about the intent and use of the Euro?
