Why are European governments reevaluating their agreements with US defence tech contractor Palantir?<\/h2>\n

European governments are moving to reduce their reliance on Palantir, the US-based data analytics companyy whose platforms serve as the data and artificial intelligence (AI) backbone for militaries worldwide.<\/p>\n

Derk Boswijk, the Dutch State Secretary for Defence, said in the House of Representatives this week<\/a> that a \u201cfully fledged alternative\u201d to Palantir must be available within two years.<\/p>\n

Boswijk said the Netherlands has been using Palantir since 2010 on a \u201cvery limited, compartmentalised, and small scale,\u201d according to local media.<\/p>\n

Still, he said that the government is working on a \u201ctwo-track policy to reduce dependency\u201d on the company so they can operate independently \u201cas soon as possible.\u201d Documents submitted to the Dutch parliament indicate that they are looking for a European alternative. …<\/p>\n

Switzerland rejected Palantir bids at least nine times<\/a> due to security concerns, and Denmark is also seeking local alternatives to f Palantir software. …<\/p>\n

At the state level, the German military said it will not be contracting any US companies, including Palantir, for its contracts, according to Reuters. …<\/p>\n

“As much as we are interested in \u200bthe functionality for our own \u200bdatabase, it is simply inconceivable at the \u200cmoment to grant industry staff access to the national database,” Thomas Daum, the head of Germany\u2019s cyber defence, reportedly said this week<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Instead, the government is shortlisting European alternatives, including French firm ChapsVision,<\/a> for their software needs.<\/p>\n

Denmark previously signed a 7-year deal with Palantir for surveillance and data analytics platforms, Maven Smart System and Foundry. There are two main points to bring up.<\/p>\n

The first is that some have wondered if Palantir help turn the USA into a type of digital prison:<\/p>\n

Palantir-Powered Surveillance Is Turning America Into a Digital Prison<\/h2>\n

Call it what it is: a panopticon presidency.<\/p>\n

President Trump\u2019s plan to fuse government power with private surveillance tech<\/a> to build a centralized, national citizen database<\/a> is the final step in transforming America from a constitutional republic into a digital dictatorship armed with algorithms and powered by unaccountable, all-seeing artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t about national security. It\u2019s about control.<\/p>\n

According to news reports, the Trump administration is quietly collaborating with Palantir Technologies<\/a>\u2014the data-mining behemoth co-founded by billionaire Peter Thiel\u2014to construct a centralized, government-wide surveillance system that would consolidate biometric, behavioral, and geolocation data into a single, weaponized database of Americans\u2019 private information.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t about protecting freedom. It\u2019s about rendering freedom obsolete.<\/p>\n

What we\u2019re witnessing is the transformation of America into a digital prison\u2014one where the inmates are told we\u2019re free while every move, every word, every thought is monitored, recorded, and used to assign a \u201cthreat score<\/a>\u201d that determines our place in the new hierarchy of obedience.<\/p>\n

This puts us one more step down the road to China\u2019s dystopian system of social credit scores and Big Brother surveillance.<\/p>\n

The tools enabling this all-seeing surveillance regime are not new, but under Trump\u2019s direction, they are being fused together in unprecedented ways\u2014with Palantir at the center of this digital dragnet<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Palantir, long criticized for its role in powering ICE<\/a> (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) raids and predictive policing, is now poised to become the brain of Trump\u2019s surveillance regime.<\/p>\n

Under the guise of \u201cdata integration\u201d and \u201cpublic safety,\u201d this public-private partnership would deploy AI-enhanced systems to comb through everything from facial recognition feeds and license plate readers to social media posts and cellphone metadata\u2014cross-referencing it all to assess a person\u2019s risk to the state. …<\/p>\n

Building on this foundation of historical abuse, the government has evolved its tactics, replacing human informants with algorithms and wiretaps with metadata, ushering in an age where pre-crime prediction is treated as prosecution.<\/p>\n

In the age of AI, your digital footprint is enough to convict you\u2014not in a court of law, but in the court of preemptive suspicion.<\/p>\n

Every smartphone ping, GPS coordinate, facial scan, online purchase, and social media like becomes part of your \u201cdigital exhaust\u201d\u2014a breadcrumb trail of metadata<\/a> that the government now uses to build behavioral profiles. Yes, this sounds like the USA is getting closer to the UK which is also looking at “pre-crime” etc. in a way reminiscent of the Tom Cruise movie called Minority Report<\/em> (see UK working with Artificial Intelligence to identify people before they commit crimes\u2013idea reminiscient of \u2018Minority Report\u2019<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Despite some claiming that the USA is the land of the free and home of the brave, like some other nations, it is the land of the surveilled and the home of the highly regulated.<\/p>\n

But the second point is that the Europeans want their own similar system independent of the United States because they do not trust the USA, they want Europe to develop its tech, and because they will be able to keep some of their plans private, away from the USA.<\/p>\n

As reported here last week the:\u00a0EU and EAEU taking steps on computer chips, data, and AI<\/a> to make them less dependent upon USA technology. Notice also:<\/p>\n

The European Union continues to move forward on its software goals.<\/p>\n

Why?<\/p>\n

Europe No Longer Trusts America With Its Data<\/h2>\n

Europe is now openly discussing restricting Microsoft, Amazon, and Google from handling some of its most sensitive government data, including financial records, judicial files, and healthcare information, and this marks a major turning point in the relationship between Europe and the American technology sector.<\/p>\n

According to reports surrounding the European Commission\u2019s upcoming \u201cTech Sovereignty Package,\u201d Brussels is preparing measures that could limit how foreign cloud providers manage sensitive public-sector workloads, specifically targeting the dominant American firms that currently control most of Europe\u2019s digital infrastructure.<\/p>\n

This is Europe effectively admitting that it no longer trusts the United States to control the infrastructure storing its most critical national data. There are other private corporations handling public data in Europe; privacy is NOT the concern.\u00a0https:\/\/www.armstrongeconomics.com\/government-surveillance\/europe-no-longer-trusts-america-with-its-data\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I agree with Martin Armstrong that this is not because of personal privacy concerns. Europe will develop a type of digital prison as it will fulfill the ‘666’ prophecies of Revelation 13:16-18. And some of what it will do may be at least partially based on what Palantir does and even part of how is has been programmed.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Europe wants to be the leader in information technologies\u2013and does not want to be dependent on the USA. The Europe-based World Economic Forum has hosted conferences on it and pushing it (e.g. WEF schedules Quantum Technology conference as Europe moves more into quantum-666?<\/a>)<\/p>\n

The Bible shows that a European power will arise whose leader will \u201cunderstand hidden things\u201d:<\/p>\n

23 <\/span>And in the latter end of their kingdom, about the perfecting of the transgressors, a king stands up, fierce of face, and understanding hidden things; (Daniel 8:23, LSV)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

While the above is not limited to the use of software and data centers, understanding those look to be a factor in the fulfillment of that prophecy.<\/p>\n

From a military perspective, I expect that the Europeans will guard\/hide aspects of their technology (the CERN Large Hadron Collider and other projects come to mind), which will also assist it to fulfill militaristic prophecies such as in Revelation 13:3-4 and Daniel 11:39.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
