Democratic Socialists have never been as popular in the United States as they are right now. The mayor of the largest city in the entire country is a Democratic Socialist. The mayor of Seattle is a Democratic Socialist too. The DSA website defines it as \u201ca system where ordinary people have a real voice in our workplaces, neighborhoods, and society\u201d<\/a> \u2026<\/p>\n

That sounds so warm and fuzzy.<\/p>\n

But when you start examining their actual party platform, you find all sorts of extremely radical proposals<\/a>\u2026<\/p>\n

There\u2019s ample evidence of the DSA\u2019s radicalism. Earlier this month, its leadership issued an updated platform that calls for abolishing the U.S. Senate, defunding the Pentagon, offering universal amnesty to illegal immigrants, transferring the ownership of major corporations to the public, and replacing \u201cthe President and Supreme Court with an executive and judiciary chosen by and subordinate to Congress.\u201d It also includes a demand that police budgets be cut \u201cannually to zero.\u201d Sarah Milner, a member of the DSA\u2019s Reform & Revolution caucus, justified the platform by pointing out that President Woodrow Wilson once called for drastically amending the Constitution. She said the DSA\u2019s proposed changes would advance \u201ca vision of transforming the functions of the American state to allow for the implementation of socialism.\u201d Taken as a whole, the platform enthusiastically embraces illiberal values, which former New York Times columnist Pamela Paul has called \u201cthe most troubling characteristic of contemporary progressivism.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

That is a pretty alarming list.<\/p>\n

So they actually want to get rid of the presidency, the U.S. Senate, the Supreme Court, the Pentagon and all police?<\/p>\n

But they don\u2019t campaign on any of that.<\/p>\n

What they campaign on is giving lots of free stuff to everyone.<\/p>\n

They want free health care, free child care, free tuition, free public transportation and free assistance to all homebuyers that need it.<\/p>\n

Voters love to hear that they can have it all.<\/p>\n

But somewhere along the line someone actually has to pay for all of the free stuff that the government is handing out.<\/p>\n

The Democratic Socialists are considered to be on the ‘left’ of USA politics. The Republicans are considered to be on the ‘right.’<\/p>\n

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson revealed on a podcast that he is done with the Republican Party and said “there’s no chance” he will support it ahead of the November midterm elections.<\/p>\n

“The poll numbers now tell a pretty clear story about it. I would not support the Republican Party, there’s no chance,” Carlson said on the “Can’t Be Censored” podcast<\/a>. “Not because I support the Democratic Party. I don’t know what I’m going to do.”<\/p>\n

He went on to question how any American “could support a political party that’s not loyal to the United States.”<\/p>\n

“It’s not possible to vote for people like that and I’m not going to,” he added. “I voted Republican my entire life. I worked at Fox News. I’ve been a consistent defender for 35 years of the Republican Party, but there’s no defending this because it’s immoral.”<\/p>\n

He\u2019s repeatedly criticized the war as being at the behest of Israel at the expense of Americans, and attacked the party for failing to represent its own voters, citizens and nation.<\/p>\n

Carlson\u2019s break underscores how thoroughly the Iran war has divided the coalition Trump built. For years, Carlson was one of the president\u2019s most consistent media defenders, even after leaving Fox News in 2023. The USA itself is becoming more and more divided.<\/p>\n

Both the left and the right are moving farther apart.<\/p>\n

Jesus warned:<\/p>\n

25 \u2026 Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. (Matthew 12:25)<\/p>\n

24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.\u00a0 (Mark 3:24-25)<\/p>\n

17 \u2026 Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and a house divided against a house falls. (Luke 11:17)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Notice that God inspired this to be written three times in the Gospels.<\/p>\n

God normally seems to repeat something in scripture for emphasis.<\/p>\n

The division is a BIG DEAL.<\/p>\n

The end of the USA is coming (cf. Daniel 11:39).<\/p>\n

Instead of fighting each other, love is what is needed.<\/p>\n

As Jesus taught:<\/p>\n

37 \u2026 \u201c\u2018You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.\u2019 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: \u2018You shall love your neighbor as yourself.\u2019 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.\u201d (Matthew 22:37-40)<\/p>\n

27 \u201cBut I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. 29 To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. 30 Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. 31 And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.<\/p>\n

32 \u201cBut if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. 35 But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. Instead of true love, a lot of hate and anger has been displayed and whipped up.<\/p>\n

Troubles are prophesied (Mark 13:8).<\/p>\n

The time of Jacob\u2019s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7), also known as the Great Tribulation<\/a> (Matthew 24:21), is coming and the USA and its Anglo-Saxon-Celtic allies will be affected.<\/p>\n

National repentance is the only way to prevent it, yet no major political leader has called for it or turning to God.<\/p>\n

Personal repentance, however, is still possible. Your personal future can still be much brighter than that of your country. Jesus, in addition to being the source of salvation, also offered physical protection to the most faithful (see Philadelphian Christian Great Tribulation Protection<\/a> <\/span>and\/or watch Great Tribulation Protection<\/a><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Now the Kingdom of God<\/a> is the solution, but first there will be a horrific 3 1\/2 years that the politicians of the USA do not fully grasp.<\/p>\n

As far as that Kingdom goes, notice something that the late Herbert W. Armstrong wrote:<\/p>\n

The New World Government<\/strong><\/p>\n

NOW NOTICE JUST HOW THE NEW World Government will function! It will not be so-called Democracy. It will not be Socialism. It will not be Communism or Fascism. It will not be human monarchy, oligarchy, or plutocracy.<\/p>\n

It will not be man’s government over man. Man has proven his utter incapability of ruling himself. It will be Divine Government \u2014 the Government of God. It will not be government from the bottom up. The people will have no votes. It will not be government of or by the people \u2014 but it will be government for the people. It will be government from the top (God Almighty) down.<\/p>\n

There will be no election campaigns. No campaign fund-raising dinners. No dirty political campaigns, where each candidate attempts to put himself forward in the most favorable light, defaming, denouncing, discrediting his opponents. No time will be wasted in mudslinging campaigns in the lust for power.<\/p>\n

No human will be given any government office. All in government service will then be Divine Spirit beings, in the Kingdom of God \u2014 the God Family.<\/p>\n

All officials will be appointed \u2014 and by the Divine Christ, who reads and knows men’s hearts, their inner character, and abilities or lack of ability. You’ll find a description of Christ’s supernatural insight into the very character of others in Isaiah 11:1-5<\/a>.
\nNotice it: “And the spirit of the [Eternal] shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the [Eternal]; and shall make him of quick understanding\u2026 and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears [hearsay]: but with righteousness shall He judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth\u2026” (Isaiah 11:2-4<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Remember, God is the Supreme One who is love \u2014 who gives \u2014 who rules with outgoing concern for the ruled. He will rule for the highest good of the people. The most able, the most righteous, those best fitted for office will be placed in all offices of responsibility and power.
\nThere will then be two kinds of beings on earth \u2014 humans, being ruled by those made divine.<\/p>\n

Some resurrected saints will rule over ten cities, some over five (Luke 19:17-19<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Think of it \u2014 no money wasted on political campaigns. No splits in political parties with quarreling and hatreds. No political parties!<\/p>\n

What Is the New Covenant?<\/strong><\/p>\n

In short, under the new Covenant which Christ is coming to usher in, what we shall see on earth is happiness, peace, abundance, and justice for all. Did you ever read just what this New Covenant will consist of? Did you suppose it will do away with God’s Law? Exactly the opposite. “For this is the covenant that Christ is coming to establish, you’ll read in Hebrews 8:10<\/a>; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts\u2026”<\/p>\n

When God’s Laws are in our hearts \u2014 when we love God’s ways, and in our hearts want to live by them, human nature will be put under subjection \u2014 people will want to live the Way that is the cause of peace, happiness, abundance, joyful well-being!<\/p>\n

But remember, the humans remaining on the earth after Christ’s return \u2014 ruled then by Christ and those resurrected or changed to immortality \u2014 will themselves still have human nature. They will be still unconverted.<\/p>\n

But Christ and the governing Kingdom of God, then set up as the Governing Family, will bring about the coming utopia by two basic courses of action.<\/p>\n

Two Courses of Action<\/strong><\/p>\n

1) All crime, and organized rebellion will be put down by force \u2014 Divine supernatural force.
\n2) Christ will then set His hand to reeducate and to save or spiritually convert the world.<\/p>\n

Notice, first, how the social and religious customs will be changed by Divine force.<\/p>\n

Originally God gave seven annual Festivals and Holy Days He commanded to be observed. They contained great and important meaning. They pictured God’s Master Plan for working out His purpose for humanity. They were established forever. Jesus observed them, setting us an example. The apostles observed them (Acts 18:21<\/a>, 20:6<\/a>, 16<\/a>; I Cor. 5:8<\/a>, 16:8<\/a>). The Church \u2014 including Gentile converts \u2014 kept them.<\/p>\n

They were God’s way \u2014 God’s customs for His people. But people rejected God’s ways and customs, and turned, instead, to the ways and customs of the pagan religions. People did what seemed right to themselves. These same wrong ways seem right to most people today! We realize they seem right \u2014 not wrong \u2014 to most who will be reading these words.<\/p>\n

But can we realize that “there is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death?” (Proverbs 14:12<\/a>). And if you turn to Proverbs 16:25<\/a> you will see the same thing repeated: “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”<\/p>\n

God said through Moses: “Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes” (Deuteronomy 12:8<\/a>). And again: “Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them [pagan religious customs] \u2026and that thou enquire not after their gods saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise. Thou shalt not do so unto the [Eternal] thy God: for every abomination to the [Eternal], which he hateth, have they done unto their gods\u2026” (Deuteronomy 12:30-31<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Today the professing Christian world rejects God’s Holy Days; holy to Him, but which a deceived “Christianity” hates. They observe instead the pagan days \u2014 Christmas, New Year’s, Easter, and others \u2014 “which God hateth”! Many know and confess that these are pagan \u2014 but they argue, “We don’t observe these in worshipping the pagan gods, we use their customs in worshipping Christ and the true God.”<\/p>\n

That is the way that “seemeth right” to people. They may not mean any wrong. They are deceived. A deceived man doesn’t know he is wrong. He thinks he is right. He may be as sincere as those who have found God’s way and obey it. Yet God says He will not accept that kind of observance or worship. It is an abomination to Him \u2014 “which He hateth.”<\/p>\n

But it is those who have been deceived, whose eyes God will open to His truth, when Christ returns to rule all nations of mortals still left alive. (Armstrong HW.
