So, the plan is to connect Central Asia through to South Asia.<\/p>\n

The Chinese, through its Belt & Road Initiative (BRI) has been supporting infrastructure connecting South Asia to itself as well as other parts of Central Asia.<\/p>\n

The European Union, through its Global Gateway project, has been supporting infrastructure to connect parts of Asia to itself, including places like Armenia (see\u00a0EU to invest billions in Armenia as part of its Global Gateway project, after recently announcing deals with Bangladesh and Ethiopia<\/a>).<\/p>\n

EU eyes bigger role in Luzon Economic Corridor<\/h2>\n

MANILA, Philippines \u2014\u00a0The entry of the European Union (EU) into the Luzon Economic Corridor (LEC) could pave the way for individual countries from the bloc to also contribute to projects targeted for the growth belt, an envoy said.<\/p>\n

That will be through the Global Gateway initiative, an existing cooperation between the EU and the Philippines that the bloc now wants to align with the LEC, according to EU Ambassador to the Philippines Massimo Santoro.<\/p>\n

Under Global Gateway, the EU has about \u20ac60 million (P4.2 billion) for green economy projects in the Philippines, as well as \u20ac20 million (P1.4 billion) for digital connectivity initiatives. …<\/p>\n

The Philippines and the EU reached a substantial agreement on the trade deal last week, leaving technical details and legal work to be completed before its formal conclusion. https:\/\/business.inquirer.net\/613166\/eu-eyes-bigger-role-in-luzon-corridor<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

While the Philippines remains a USA ally, notice that it is the EU that is investing in connectivity projects there.<\/p>\n

The EU is busily making trade deals around the world. An unintended consequence of the Trump Administration has been to motivate the EU to make and\/or finalize trade deals that it has been dragging its feet to make.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, between China’s connectivity projects, what we are seeing in Central Asia, and the EU’s Global Gateway project, this is setting the stage for Europe to increase trade in many parts of the world.<\/p>\n

The EU Global Gateway project is ambitious. It is intended to help ensure, that it, and not China or the USA will gain dominance throughout Europe, Africa, and Asia–and also Latin America.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, unlike the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative (aka the Silk Road project), the European one also involves infrastructure around data and communications technology.<\/p>\n

The Bible shows that economically as the \u201cdaughter of Babylon\u201d Europe will rise up in this century\u2013(cf. Revelation chapters 17 & 18)\u2013and this Global Gateway project is a step in that direction.<\/p>\n

\n

Since the Bible teaches that it will be Europe that will dominate world trade, the BRI and Europe\u2019s Global Gateway look to be ways that Europe will get access to markets in Asia and Africa. Roads work both ways. Furthermore, Europe has a long history of trading with Asia and Latin America and is biblically prophesied to continue to do so.<\/p>\n

Consider that the Bible teaches the following about an end time European power:<\/p>\n

2 \u2026 Babylon \u2026 3<\/span> For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury. The above is referring to the fact that nations of the world are prophesied to get wealthy trading with end time Babylon, which will be a European entity.<\/p>\n

Now we all know that Europe has its own currency\u2013a currency that some see as the logical replacement for the US dollar for world trade. Now, let me add that less than a decade after the above was published, the WCG publicly announced that Eastern Europe would also be part of this European power. And within a decade of that, Eastern European nations began to officially join in with what has become the European Union (more in Eastern Europe have also applied to become members of the EU). And, in population, the European Union already is actually much larger than that of the USA. The Global Gateway project and the EU’s support of the G20 connectivity goals are steps intended to help Europe rise up. And, yes, most Americans are \u201casleep at the switch\u201d to what is happening.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

EU\u2019s Global Gateway, Trade, and War? <\/a><\/h3>\n

The European Union announced that it planned to spend \u20ac300 billion ($340 billion) in a program called \u2018Global Gateway.\u2019 According to EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen it is a \u201ctrue alternative\u201d to China\u2019s Belt and Road Initiative, also known as the Silk Road Project. Both the EU and Chinese projects will improve road, ports, and\/or other infrastructure to connect with Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. Will this result in increased trade for Europe and Asia during the time of the Gentiles? Will Babylonian Europe dominate trade for a time? Will devastating war hit Europe with Russian and Eurasian involvement? Would infrastructure these projects are involved in be used for war? What about preparation for Armageddon?
