The order, called ‘National Defense Resources Preparedness’ is actually an amendment to the ‘Defense Production Act of 1950’ and gives the office of the President total control over all<\/em> of the resources in the United States in the event of a war or an emergency. What constitutes an emergency and who makes that decision? With so many citizens unhappy with the current administration, it’s a question people may be asking in the coming days.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Section One of the order<\/a>states the purpose of the amendment and the ability of using it in peacetime:Section 101. Purpose. This order delegates authorities and addresses national defense resource policies and programs under the Defense Production Act of 1950, as amended (the “Act”).<\/em><\/p>\n (b) assess on an ongoing basis the capability of the domestic industrial and technological base to satisfy requirements in peacetime and times of national emergency, specifically evaluating the availability of the most critical resource and production sources, including subcontractors and suppliers, materials, skilled labor, and professional and technical personnel;<\/em><\/p>\n Section Two directs how each cabinet of the Executive branch can take control over all resources if the order is executed. For example, “(4) the Secretary of Transportation with respect to all forms of civil transportation; (6) the Secretary of Commerce with respect to all other materials, services, and facilities, including construction materials.”<\/em><\/p>\n Nothing is left out, even water is included!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Having seen how the USA has been increasing reporting requirements, etc. related to its tax laws, etc., it has been clear to me that the USA believes the federal government believes it is entitled to information and assets that its citizens have tended to think that its government is not entitled to.<\/p>\n I should point out that the Obama Administration seems to be continuing a trend that other administrations, including the last Bush Administration pushed in terms of giving the federal government more powers while eliminating certain legal protections and privacy rights for Americans.\u00a0 Hence, my post is not simply related to the current administration.\u00a0 Additionally, over the years, the USA has set up increasing international reporting requirements on foreign banks and other financial institutions to report on more and more financial transactions.<\/p>\n Most citizens of the USA do not realize how many rights, and how fast those rights, are being taken away.\u00a0 The USA is setting a lot up for the Beast of Revelation 13:<\/p>\n 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.<\/p>\n 18 Here is wisdom.
