\u00a0Madrid (CNN)<\/strong> — Chanting “they don’t represent us,” tens of thousands in Madrid railed early Sunday against Spain’s government and austerity cuts — venting their anger on the first anniversary of the so-called May 15 protest movement…Barcelona saw about 22,000 protesters, while Valencia had 8,000 and Seville had 2,000, authorities said…The coordinated events marked the return of the “indignados” — or the outraged, as the protesters became known — who led Europe’s first serious and significant grassroots movement against austerity and government budget cuts.\u00a0 http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2012\/05\/12\/world\/europe\/spain-protests\/?hpt=hp_t3<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This should be no surprise to regular readers of this page.\u00a0 Back in 2010 (see Civil War in Greece?<\/a>), I warned, “Austerity measures in Europe will likely cause civil unrest”. As well later in December 2010 (see Civil Unrest in Greece (and it was predicted<\/a>) where I warned:<\/p>\n

Civil unrest in Europe is expected.\u00a0 Places such as France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Eastern Europe have potential for this occurrence.\u00a0 In addition to austerity measures, Islamic protests and immigration related issues will also likely be factors in flaming protests and devastating riots.\u00a0 Expanded civil unrest will have major impacts on the euro and on Europe itself.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Expanded civil unrest will have major impacts on the euro and on Europe itself. It is highly likely to propel a European leader to rise up. The final leader will be the one known as the Beast (Revelation 13:3-4) and final King of the North (Daniel 11:22-44) of Bible prophecy.<\/p>\n

Europe is prophesied to have problems (Daniel 11:41-43) and not all the problems have happened yet.\u00a0 Spain and other parts of Europe are likely to have even more significant civil unrest before a strong leader is granted power (cf. Revelation 17:12-13).<\/p>\n

World events are aligning with prophecy. There will be ups and downs in Europe until the final European beast power rises up. The protests may turn quite violent and this may be a major trigger for the rise of the prophesied final King of the North.<\/p>\n
