The drought that has affected about half of the USA is now considered to be its largest natural disaster:<\/p>\n

The United States Department of Agriculture has declared natural disaster areas in more than 1,000 counties and 26 drought-stricken states, making it the largest natural disaster in America ever…<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u00a0According to the U.S. Drought Monitor<\/a>, more than half the country (56 percent) experienced drought conditions\u2014the largest percentage in the 12-year history of the service. And according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)<\/a>, the period from January through June was “the warmest first half of any year on record for the contiguous United States.”\u00a0 http:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/blogs\/lookout\/us-natural-disaster-area-drought-150130308.html<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And of course, in 2012, weather problems, including drought and heat have affected more than the USA (see, for example,\u00a0Drought Reducing Wheat Yields in US, Australia, Russia, and Ukraine<\/a> and Weather Extremes in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the UK<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Droughts and weather problems contribute to food shortages, higher food prices, and sometimes famines.\u00a0 Food inflation seems to be occurring (see Corn Prices Rise 33%, More Food Problems Ahead<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Droughts and odd weather problems should serve as a wake-up call. Weather-related troubles with their related food issues, of course, have been biblically expected:<\/p>\n

7…And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. (Matthew 24:7-8).<\/p>\n

The USA’s insistence on pursuing legalizing various forms of immorality is going to catch up with it.\u00a0 The drought is only a part of that.<\/p>\n
