The Philadelphia Church Era<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/feast.htm\">The Feast of Tabernacles: A Time for Christians?<\/a>)&#8211;what struck me was that no one other than us was ever at any of those places.\u00a0\u00a0This was our last year at a Worldwide Church of God feast site.\u00a0 The first picture is a welcome to Oregon, while the second is near Florence Oregon:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"220\" src=\"\/oregon.gif\" alt=\"Welcome to Oregon\" height=\"150\" style=\"width: 220px; height: 150px\" title=\"Welcome to Oregon\" \/>\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"220\" src=\"\/dunebuggy.gif\" alt=\"Dune Buggy near Florence Oregon, 1994\" height=\"164\" style=\"width: 220px; height: 164px\" title=\"Dune Buggy near Florence Oregon, 1994\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In 1995, we attended our first Feast of Tabernacles site outside the Worldwide Church of God.\u00a0 The Global Church of God site we attended was in Del Mar, California.\u00a0 Around 700 were in attendance.\u00a0 It is near San Diego.\u00a0 The first picture is in Del Mar, while the second is of San Diego:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"220\" src=\"\/delmar.gif\" alt=\"Del Mar GCG Feast\" height=\"159\" style=\"width: 220px; height: 159px\" title=\"Del Mar GCG Feast\" \/>\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"220\" src=\"\/sandiego.gif\" alt=\"San Diego 1995\" height=\"153\" style=\"width: 220px; height: 153px\" title=\"San Diego 1995\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In 1996, we attended the Feast of Tabernacles in Penang, Malaysia.\u00a0 About 70 attended.\u00a0 We were one of only 2 American families there.\u00a0 This was the first feast site I spoke at (I gave two sermonettes).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"220\" src=\"\/penang.gif\" alt=\"Penang\" height=\"153\" style=\"width: 220px; height: 153px\" title=\"Penang\" \/>\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"220\" src=\"\/penangchurch.gif\" alt=\"Attendees at Penang Malaysia Feast Site, 1996\" height=\"165\" style=\"width: 220px; height: 165px\" title=\"Attendees at Penang Malaysia Feast Site, 1996\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In 1997, we attended the feast in Hengelhoef, Belgium.\u00a0 Several hundred were in attendance.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"220\" src=\"\/hengelhoef.gif\" alt=\"Hengelhoef Sign 1997\" height=\"148\" style=\"width: 220px; height: 148px\" title=\"Hengelhoef Sign 1997\" \/>\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"220\" src=\"\/belgium.gif\" alt=\"Belgium 1997\" height=\"165\" style=\"width: 220px; height: 165px\" title=\"Belgium 1997\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In 1998, we attended the feast in Branson, Missouri.\u00a0 At this site, Dr. Meredith and I became better acquainted, which helped when the Global Church of God crisis erupted the next month.\u00a0 The second picture is from a place called &#8220;the Holy Land&#8221; and is a short drive away in Arkansas:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"220\" src=\"\/branson.gif\" alt=\"Branson Sign\" height=\"165\" style=\"width: 220px; height: 165px\" title=\"Branson Sign\" \/>\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"220\" src=\"\/tencommandments.gif\" alt=\"Ten Commandments in Holy Land, Arkansas\" height=\"151\" style=\"width: 220px; height: 151px\" title=\"Ten Commandments in Holy Land, Arkansas\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In 1999, we attended the feast in Anchorage, Alaska.\u00a0 This was the first time my wife or I ever attended the same feast site more than once.\u00a0 However, it was different than the previous time (1982) and there was a significant reduction in the sizes of the glaciers I remembered from the prior visit.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"220\" src=\"\/muskox.gif\" alt=\"Musk Ox, 1999\" height=\"156\" style=\"width: 220px; height: 156px\" title=\"Musk Ox, 1999\" \/>\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"220\" src=\"\/glacier.gif\" alt=\"Glacier, 1999\" height=\"159\" style=\"width: 220px; height: 159px\" title=\"Glacier, 1999\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Three articles of possibly related interest may include:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/fallholy.htm\">Did Early Christians Observe the Fall Holy Days?<\/a> Did they?
