COGwriter<\/a><\/p>\n While I was aware that the Democratic Party of the U.S.A. was proposing to put stronger pro-abortion<\/a> language in the party platform, the following seems unexpected:<\/p>\n September 4, 2012<\/p>\n Guess what? God\u2019s name has been removed from the Democratic National Committee platform.<\/p>\n This is the paragraph that was in the 2008 platform:<\/p>\n \u201cWe need a government that stands up for the hopes, values, and interests of working people, and gives everyone willing to work hard the chance to make the most of their God-given potential.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Now the words \u201cGod-given\u201d have been removed. The paragraph has been restructured to say this:<\/p>\n \u201cWe gather to reclaim the basic bargain that built the largest middle class and the most prosperous nation on Earth \u2013 the simple principle that in America, hard work should pay off, responsibility should be rewarded, and each one of us should be able to go as far as our talent and drive take us.\u201d \u00a0 http:\/\/blogs.cbn.com\/thebrodyfile\/archive\/2012\/09\/04\/democrats-drop-god-from-party-platform.aspx<\/a><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n It is possible that the Democratic Party delegates will change on this.\u00a0 We will see.\u00a0 Sadly, it is also my understanding that the platform will have pro-homosexual marriage language.<\/p>\n Notice that the Bible warns:<\/p>\n 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind<\/strong>, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.\u00a0 (Romans 1:28-32)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Removing even the word “God” seems to be related to not wanting to retain God in the knowledge of the Democratic Party (but again, this may change).\u00a0 Also, just because the Republican Party gives more mention of God, this does not mean that God is a Republican or supporter of that party.<\/p>\n Earlier today, I announced my latest book Barack Obama, Prophecy, and the Destruction of the United States<\/a>.
