Autism has been on the rise in the USA and certain other lands.\u00a0 Immunizations, foods, increased genetic predisposition, and toxins have been speculated as being possible cause for this rise.\u00a0 Because of the neurological problems associated with autism, I have long felt that it is likely caused by a combination of environmental toxins with genetic predisposition.\u00a0 A newly released study seems to support my view here:<\/p>\n

Children with autism are two to three times more likely than other children to have been exposed to car exhaust, smog, and other air pollutants during their earliest days, according to a new study.<\/p>\n

That new research adds to a mounting body of evidence that shows a link between early-life exposure to pollution and autism spectrum disorders…<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re not saying that air pollution causes autism. The widespread and growing use of genetically modified (GMO) “foods,” pesticides, herbicides, synthetic vitamins, combined with air and other environmental pollution, including exposure to huge amounts of plastics, etc. puts a toxic load on the human body that seems to increase the risk for autism.<\/p>\n

While I do not believe that air pollution is the only cause of autism, it certainly is a risk factor.\u00a0 Humans, in general, have been too willing to pollute the environment, including the air, water, ground, and food supply.\u00a0 There are consequences to those and other behaviors (Galatians 6:7-8′ Romans 1:18-32).<\/p>\n

One of the reasons that Jesus is returning is to “destroy those who destroy the earth” (Revelation 11:18).<\/p>\n
