Ran across something rather bizarre (as well as inaccurate) about 2012 today:<\/p>\n

Horn says from deepest antiquity, a plot involving pagan sun-worshippers, America\u2019s Founding Fathers, Masons and Freemasons has apparently been in the works, culminating in the end time with the return or resurrection of an evil, supernatural being. That character may actually be pictured as the all-seeing eye on top of the uncapped pyramid on the Great Seal of the United States, found on the back of a $1 bill.<\/p>\n

Others have speculated the eye on top of the pyramid could be a representation of Jesus Christ, since the Bible notes, \u201cThe stone the builders rejected has become the capstone.\u201d (Psalm 118:22 New International Version).<\/p>\n

The date at the base of the pyramid is 1776, which is not only the year the Declaration of Independence was signed, but also the beginning of a new Mayan \u201ckatun,\u201d a time period of 19.7 years. Nor does the “Great Seal” of the United States point to 2012 Thomas Horn’s way.\u00a0 It is very easy to disprove Thomas Horn’s inaccurate speculation on this point by simply doing the math.\u00a0 19.7 years times 13 equals 256.1 years.\u00a0 Adding 256 to 1776 leads to the year 2032, not 2012 (and no, I am not trying to say that 2032 is for the end based on the 13 steps and Mayan katuns).\u00a0 And trying to claim that the thirteen steps really means twelve is absurd.<\/p>\n

World News Daily<\/em> should never have promoted that author and his inaccurate book.<\/p>\n

The end of the world will not be December 21\/22, 2012.<\/p>\n
