COGwriter<\/a><\/p>\n Various companies have been arriving in Berlin, Germany for the IFA show.\u00a0 Here is some information from IFA’s website:<\/p>\n Come to Berlin and discover the newest products at the world\u2018s leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances. IFA is the most important trade event. This is where the leading international brands launch their latest innovations \u2013 offering you a chance to get first-hand information from the world\u2018s foremost manufacturers. The main focus at IFA is on digital products \u2013 from ultra-HD<\/strong> displays, to smart TVs<\/strong>, tablet computers<\/strong>, smartphones<\/strong> and networked home appliances<\/strong>… IFA 2013 will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. <\/strong>daily from 6 to 11 September 2013<\/strong>. http:\/\/b2b.ifa-berlin.com\/en\/ABOUTIFA\/<\/p><\/blockquote>\n But there is more going on with European technology than the “world\u2018s leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances.”<\/p>\n The Europeans have plans for technology.\u00a0 Here is some information on some of them, notice also Horizon 2020:<\/p>\n The European Commission’s 2012 policy Communication on the European Research Area (ERA) should lead to a significant improvement in Europe’s research performance to promote growth and job creation. The measures in the Communication will have to be implemented by EU Member States, the Commission and Research Organisations to ensure the completion of ERA by 2014 as called for by the European Council.<\/p>\n To complete ERA and maximise the return on research investment, Europe must increase the efficiency and effectiveness of its public research system. This requires more cooperation so that the brightest minds work together to make greater impact on grand challenges (e.g. demographic-ageing, energy security, mobility, environmental degradation), and to avoid unnecessary duplication of research and infrastructure investment at national level. \u00a0http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/research\/era\/era_communication_en.htm<\/a><\/p>\n The European Space Agency (ESA) is Europe’s gateway to space. Its mission is to shape the development of Europe’s space capability and ensure that investment in space continues to deliver benefits to the citizens of Europe and the world.<\/p>\n ESA is an international organisation with 20 Member States. By coordinating the financial and intellectual resources of its members, it can undertake programmes and activities far beyond the scope of any single European country. \u00a0http:\/\/www.esa.int\/About_Us\/Welcome_to_ESA\/What_is_ESA<\/a><\/p>\n Horizon 2020 is the financial instrument implementing the Innovation Union<\/a>2<\/sup>, a Europe 2020<\/a>3<\/sup> flagship initiative aimed at securing Europe’s global competitiveness. Running from 2014 to 2020 with an \u20ac80 billion budget, the EU\u2019s new programme for research and innovation is part of the drive to create new growth and jobs in Europe.<\/p>\n Horizon 2020 provides major simplification through a single set of rules. It will combine all research and innovation funding currently provided through the Framework Programmes for Research and Technical Development<\/a>4<\/sup>, the innovation related activities of the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP<\/a>5<\/sup>) and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT<\/a>6<\/sup>)…<\/p>\n Horizon 2020 will tackle societal challenges by helping to bridge the gap between research and the market by, for example, helping innovative enterprise to develop their technological breakthroughs into viable products with real commercial potential. \u00a0http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/research\/horizon2020\/index_en.cfm?pg=h2020<\/a><\/p>\n By end 2013:<\/strong> Adoption of legislative acts by Parliament and Council on Horizon 2020<\/p>\n 1\/1\/2014:<\/strong> Horizon 2020 starts; launch of first calls<\/p>\n Horizon 2020 will be adopted using the “ordinary legislative procedure” (formerly known as “co-decision”). \u00a0http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/research\/horizon2020\/index_en.cfm?pg=h2020-timeline<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Europe is planning on improving its economy and position in the world via technology and research.\u00a0 It is hoping to have all the pieces together by 2020.\u00a0 And despite its flaws, for a short time, the European power will dominate the world per Revelation 13, 17, and 18.\u00a0 Its intention with its technology and procedures (.http:\/\/www.ft.com\/cms\/s\/af609b2c-bf72-11db-9ac2-000b5df10621.html<\/a><\/span>) IS to lead the world.<\/p>\n Since today is the Feast of Trumpets<\/a>, why mention this now?\u00a0 Because trumpets have long been used to warn of impending doom or attack, and what is happening in Europe needs to be shouted out.\u00a0 The Europeans are working for greater political, military, and economic unity and are turning to research technology to try to bring this to pass.\u00a0 And while it will also take religion combined with “signs and lying wonders” (cf. 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12) for this to take place, research technology would seem to be part of the key for economic unity and military dominance.<\/p>\n As I have reported in the past, the Europeans have been working on a ‘GPS’ competitor called Galileo (Europe\u2019s Galileo \u2018GPS\u2019 Hits Another Milestone<\/a>) that was funded for military purposes (see EU Approves Galileo For Military Use<\/a>).\u00a0 The USA itself plans to link part of its military surveillance to it (as I warned; see USA GPS and EU Galileo linking was expected<\/a>) and this will put the USA at unique risk for attack.\u00a0 The Europeans\u00a0 have also made progress with antimatter with its Large Hadron Collier (LHC) ran by CERN (the European Organization for Nuclear Research<\/strong>).\u00a0 The related research may have some military implications (see LHC has another discovery related to understanding antimatter<\/a>).\u00a0 This is all going on as the USA makes cuts to its military (e.g. US Army announces cuts<\/a> and There are no longer USA tanks in Germany: Do Americans understand this is a serious risk?<\/a>).<\/p>\n Since the Beast of Revelation 13 will be European (Europa, the Beast, and Revelation<\/a> and the YouTube video Can You Prove that the Beast to Come is European?<\/a>), I have long felt that the Europeans would be able to fulfill their prophesied role via technology.<\/p>\n Notice something that the Bible says about this:<\/p>\n 3\u2026And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, \u201cWho is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?\u201d (Revelation 13:3-4, NKJV)<\/p>\n Notice that the military power of the Beast was something that the world will marvel, be astonished about. Why? Because no one really thought that the European Beast power had the military ability to defeat the U.S.A. with its Anglo-allies (Daniel 11:39), and then the Islamic King of the South (Daniel 11:40-43).<\/p>\n Technology would seem to be the key to a powerful European military. One aspect could include particle collider research. The number of colliders in the U.S.A. has dwindled down to one under the Obama and Bush Administrations, and the remaining one is facing budget cuts and possible closure. Yet, in Europe, it now has the leading one in the world, CERN\u2019s Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and in 2012, Germany announced that it is planning a possibly even more advanced one called FAIR (FAIR stands for the F<\/strong>acility for A<\/strong>ntiproton and I<\/strong>on R<\/strong>esearch).<\/p>\n I believe that Germany\u2019s FAIR, along with the LHC and other technology and research programs, will help the Europeans produce military weaponry to fulfill certain end time prophecies. Since Revelation 13:4 is discussing what seems to be a unique type of warfare, this warfare likely includes certain high-tech weapons (electromagnetic pulse, neutron, unique delivery systems, etc.) that will be effective for a while (ultimately the Europeans will be overcome by what appears to be a Russian-led, mainly Asian, confederation, cf. Jeremiah 50:41-43 & Daniel 11:44, possibly by exploiting some technological flaw, like creating a software virus, etc., while also amassing troops, etc.). The FAIR and the LHC projects are also likely to spin-off economic benefits that may help propel Europe to be (for a short while) the economic leader of the world (cf. Revelation 18).<\/p>\n While the U.S.A., Australia, and others are currently worried mostly about China, the European developments will not be good for the Anglo-descended lands, including England.<\/p>\n Europe is moving forward with its research, space, and military plans and few in the USA seem to realize that when it gets enough power, the USA will lose all of its.<\/p>\n The understanding of the Continuing<\/em> Church of God<\/a> that the Europeans will be able to attack and takeover the United States and its Anglo-descended allies (cf. Isaiah 10:5-11; Daniel 11:39) is correct and will come to pass.
