COGwriter<\/a><\/p>\n The current head of the US Federal Reserve is leaving and is to be replaced by the first woman to ever hold that position:<\/p>\n October 10, 2013<\/p>\n It’s finally official: Ben Bernanke, one of the most influential Fed chairmen in history, will step down on Jan. 31 when his second term ends.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n President Obama’s nomination of Janet Yellen Wednesday to be the next Fed chair ends months of speculation about who will lead the Fed next year. \u00a0http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/money\/business\/2013\/10\/09\/bernanke-steps-down\/2897829\/<\/a><\/p>\n October 10, 2013<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Yellen, not much more than 5 feet tall, is a towering intellect who commands respect from those who understand the intricacies of monetary policy and can explain them to those of more modest intellectual gifts, a skill that will prove useful when she faces confirmation in the Senate.<\/p>\n She will become the first woman to lead America’s central bank; an apt way to mark the 100th anniversary of the Federal Reserve.<\/p>\n She will also become the world’s most powerful woman.<\/p>\n If confirmed, Yellen will likely introduce meaningful, if very subtle, changes to the job. \u00a0http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2013\/10\/10\/opinion\/ghitis-janet-yellen\/?hpt=hp_t4<\/a><\/p>\n October 10, 2013<\/p>\n Yellen is about to become the most powerful woman in US history.<\/p>\n How can we make such a claim? After all, Nancy Pelosi became the speaker of the US house in 2007, she was arguably the most-powerful woman ever elected in the US. And Hillary Clinton, Condoleeza Rice and Madeleine Albright ran the State Department. (The secretary of state is the highest-ranking member of the presidential cabinet.) Moreover, the US has had four women on the Supreme Court bench…<\/p>\n But this silver-haired, Brooklyn-born, Berkeley economist is about to top them all\u2014assuming that her nomination is confirmed by the Senate, which is pretty much assured. The reason why has to do with the unique position of the Federal Reserve as an independent<\/em> part of the federal government as well as the power of the chairman within that institution…In fact, in terms of institutional power, the chairmanship of the Fed might most resemble the\u00a0chief justice of the Supreme Court. As far as outgoing Chairman Bernanke goes, the mainstream media has mainly been singing his praises in the articles I saw about him today.\u00a0 I will add that this is partially because relatively few journalists rely on or sufficiently believe the Bible.\u00a0 If they did, they would realize that the debt accumulated via Ben Bernanke’s quantitative easing programs will help lead to the fulfillment of the following prophecies:<\/p>\n 13 \u201cBehold, therefore, I beat My fists at the dishonest profit which you have made<\/strong>, and at the bloodshed which has been in your midst. 14 Can your heart endure, or can your hands remain strong, in the days when I shall deal with you? I, the Lord, have spoken, and will do it. 15 I will scatter you among the nations, disperse you throughout the countries<\/strong>, and remove your filthiness completely from you. (Ezekiel 22:13-15)<\/p>\n 12\u2026Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths.\u201d (Isaiah 3:12)<\/p>\n 16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err, And those who are led by them are destroyed (Isaiah 9:16).<\/p>\n 6 \u201cWill not all these take up a proverb against him, And a taunting riddle against him, and say,\u2019Woe to him who increases What is not his \u2014 how long? And to him who loads himself with many pledges\u2019?<\/strong> 7 Will not your creditors rise up suddenly? Will they not awaken who oppress you? And you will become their booty. 8 Because you have plundered many nations, All the remnant of the people shall plunder you, Because of men\u2019s blood And the violence of the land and the city, And of all who dwell in it. ( Habakkuk 2:6-8)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Quantitative easing is form of ‘money creation’ and is also sometimes called an “asset repurchasing” program. Yet, this is mainly a sham operation that debases the value of the U.S. dollar (mainly the government prints up money electronically and the “asset” purchased is a U.S. treasury note, not a real asset like, let’s say, an oil well; yes there are also some mortgages purchased which have ties to real assets, but there are problems there as well). Calling if counterfeiting is not too far off of a description of it. If Federal Reserve Chairman Bernanke would have paid more attention to scripture, he would not have proposed it.<\/p>\n Quantitative easing will help destroy the USA dollar.\u00a0 And as far as I have been able to tell, Janet Yellen shares a lot of Chairman Bernanke’s views.\u00a0 Janet Yellen has served as the Vice Chair of the Federal Reserve for the past three years.<\/p>\n Partially because of what Chairman Bernanke and his colleagues like Janet Yellen have done (other political leaders and others have also assisted in the process and nations also have their own agendas), the USA has engaged in policies that are causing other nations to try to come up with a replacement currency or basket of currencies to replace the US dollar as the world’s reserve currency.\u00a0 The following, from today’s news, is just one:<\/p>\n October 10, 2013<\/p>\n China launched a currency swap deal with the euro zone on Thursday, in the country’s latest push to transform the yuan into a major world currency…<\/p>\n “From the perspective of the euro system, the swap arrangement is intended to serve as a backstop liquidity facility and to reassure euro area banks of the continuous provision of Chinese yuan,” said the European Central Bank in a news release.<\/p>\n Benefits of FX swap agreements include improving liquidity for currencies outside the domestic market, helping ensure the stability of financial markets. Plus, there has been a strong growth in China-European trade and investment flows, with Europe as a whole accounting for 14 percent of China trade last year.<\/p>\n The euro zone deal is the latest in a series of currency swaps China has signed this year and last. \u00a0http:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/id\/101102163<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n So, the above deal involves the Chinese renminbi yuan and the European Union’s euro for trade without needing to use USA dollars.\u00a0 This deal will hurt the value of the USA dollar in the long wrong and is harmful to the economy of the USA.\u00a0 Most people in the USA will not notice the above deal nor consider its economic or prophetic ramifications.<\/p>\n Janet Yellen will likely make moves that will also help lead to the elimination of the US dollar as the world’s primary reserve currency as well as to its ultimate worthlessness.<\/p>\n Here is some background information about her:<\/p>\n Yellen was born in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Anna (n\u00e9e Blumenthal) and Julius Yellen, a physician. She graduated from Fort Hamilton High School in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn.[5] She graduated summa cum laude from Brown University with a degree in economics in 1967, and received her Ph.D. in economics from Yale University in 1971. Yellen is Jewish and is married to George Akerlof, a Nobel prize-winning economist and professor emeritus at the University of California, Berkeley. Her son, Robert Akerlof, is an assistant professor at the University of Warwick…<\/p>\n Yellen is considered by many on Wall Street to be a “dove” (more concerned with unemployment than with inflation) and as such to be less likely to advocate Federal Reserve interest rate hikes…(Janet Yellen.\u00a0 Wikipedia, viewed 10\/10\/13)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n The above suggests that she will be at least as willing as Ben Bernanke to inflating the money supply through currency debasing.\u00a0 This is not something advocated in the Bible (Proverbs 25:4, Isaiah 1:22, 25).\u00a0 But this seems to be something that the Obama Administration wants (as have various previous administrations).<\/p>\n As far as being the most powerful woman in US history or currently in the world (according to the secular news sources cited in the beginning of this post), this would suggest that Janet Yellen is helping fulfill the following prophecy:<\/p>\n As for My people, children are their oppressors, And women rule over them. O My people!
