COGwriter<\/a><\/p>\n A reader sent me the following from the Jewish Press<\/em>:<\/p>\n Protestant minister John Hagee and Mark Biltz have suggested 2014 as a possible date for Jesus return.<\/p>\n While we are in the last days, and probably in the time that Jesus referred to as the beginning of sorrows (Matthew 24:4-8), there is no possible way that Jesus will return in 2014.\u00a0 Actually, I do not believe it is biblically possible that Jesus will return before 2021.<\/p>\n Why?<\/p>\n Because too many events, including some with specific time periods associated with them have not yet began.<\/p>\n Notice that the Bible teaches:<\/p>\n 29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.\u00a0 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.\u00a0 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.\u00a0 (Matthew 24:29-31)<\/p>\n 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
