Some opposed to the interim government that lead Egypt announced a new party today:<\/p>\n

Development and Change Party founder Bassem Khafagy\u00a0has announced the formation of a new alliance aiming for the downfall of the current regime. The group, called The Egyptian Alliance, is meant to substitute the Muslim Brotherhood-led National Alliance Supporting Legitimacy (NASL).<\/div>\n
The Alliance’s first statement read, \u201c[it] will be a political nucleus for a new national group to change the current situation considering that 30 June reversed people\u2019s will. It will have a new discourse and vision for change and a practical project with stages to liberate Egypt.\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cThe current regime sought to divide Egyptians politically and socially to enjoy sovereignty. The alliance proposes its formation to unite the national groups to return back to democratic life and the basics of the 25 January revolution that called for overthrowing the corrupt regime,\u201d it added. \u00a0http:\/\/www.egyptindependent.com\/news\/islamists-form-new-alliance-%E2%80%98overthrow-regime<\/a><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The Muslim Brotherhood held power in Egypt before the military coup installed the interim government last July.<\/p>\n

I watched a translated video with Bassem Khafagy (Egyptian Presidential Candidate and Former CAIR Official Bassem Khafagy: “I Never Loved the US, the Infidel Country” Al-Hekma TV (Egypt) – March 14, 2012 ).\u00a0 In it, he denounces the Shi-ites as infidels and blasts the USA.\u00a0 His Sunni views are consistent with the Muslim Brotherhood.<\/p>\n

Notice a translation of what some, who are\/were part of it, write that the Muslim Brotherhood wants:<\/p>\n

…the Islamic Ummah<\/em> [nation] can regain its power and be liberated and assume its rightful position which was intended by Allah, as the most exalted nation among men, as the leaders of humanity…<\/p>\n

He [Hassan al-Banna] felt the grave danger overshadowing the Muslims and the urgent need and obligation which Islam places on every Muslim, man and woman, to act in order to restore the Islamic Caliphate and to reestablish the Islamic State on strong foundations and to liberate the Muslims and defend them from any attack, and to spread the Da\u2019wa (Islamic missionary activity) of Islam in the world and to establish this great religion, which Allah wanted for his servants…<\/p>\n

Some think that Shahada<\/em> (Martyrdom) causes loss and damages the [Muslim Brotherhood] Society, since it has lost influential people in action and Jihad. To bring enough Arab nations together, I have felt that some type of \u201cstrongman\u201d needed to rise up.\u00a0 One who Arabs would tend to respect–who might use or not use the title Imam Mahdi.\u00a0 The time may be now for him to rise up and the Muslim Brotherhood may play an important role.<\/p>\n

The Bible tells of a time when the region of North Africa and the Middle East (including the Arab peninsula) will change when the King of the South<\/a> (cf. Daniel 11:27,40-43) rises up. Egypt will lead or at least support this King, and Egypt will not fare well as various scriptures show (Daniel 11:40-43; Ezekiel 30:1-9).<\/p>\n

Whether the new party accomplishes this confederation or not remains to be seen, but it will come to pass.<\/p>\n

It will likely be a religious, Islamic-oriented, government that will help create the coming confederation which is doomed to failure. Egypt is not prophesied to remain an isolated nation as it currently is. Change will come, but that change will not end well.<\/p>\n
