China has claimed that it is “very likely” that it overtook the US as the world’s top trading nation, a title the US has held for decades.<\/p>\n

According to the latest data, China’s total trade grew at an annual rate of 7.6% to $4.16tn (\u00a32.5tn) last year.<\/p>\n

The US is yet to release it full-year figures, but its trade for the first 11 months<\/a> of 2013 totalled $3.5tn.<\/p>\n

China became the world’s biggest goods exporter in 2009. Its imports have also risen amid an expansion in its economy.<\/p>\n

“It is very likely that China has overtaken the US to become the world’s largest trading country,” said Zheng Yuesheng, a spokesman for China’s customs administration. \u00a0http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/business-25678415<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n

While officially, China may or may not have passed the USA yet, it is growing in economic influence while the USA is growing in debt.<\/p>\n

Technically, though perhaps unofficially, the European Union<\/a> is the greatest trading block, but it is not totally viewed as a single nation.<\/p>\n

Decades ago, few, if any held out the belief that China could surpass the USA as a trading power.\u00a0 Now, it may have.\u00a0 And if not, likely will soon unless the USA makes certain economic changes.<\/p>\n

From watching increased trade deficits, etc., it has been clear for some time that the USA would lose its lead.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of this post, there is a picture of a black swan.\u00a0 Here is part of why:<\/p>\n

The black swan theory<\/strong> or theory of black swan events<\/strong>is a metaphor that describes an event that comes as a surprise, has a major effect, and is often inappropriately rationalized after the fact with the benefit of hindsight.The theory was developed by Nassim Nicholas Taleb to explain:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. The disproportionate role of high-profile, hard-to-predict, and rare events that are beyond the realm of normal expectations in history, science, finance, and technology<\/li>\n
  2. The non-computability of the probability of the consequential rare events using scientific methods (owing to the very nature of small probabilities)<\/li>\n
  3. The psychological biases that make people individually and collectively blind to uncertainty and unaware of the massive role of the rare event in historical affairs<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Unlike the earlier philosophical “black swan problem,” the “black swan theory” refers only to unexpected events of large magnitude and consequence and their dominant role in history. (Wikipedia, viewed 12\/12\/13)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    While some believe that various economic catastrophes and changes are essentially random events, some others are watching what is happening and have a different view.<\/p>\n

    The reality is that after it started to ‘legalize’ abortion<\/a>, the USA began to increase debt.\u00a0 It has both a large trade deficit and a large federal government deficit.\u00a0 This is consistent with what would be expected from this descendent of the tribe of Joseph in these end times.<\/p>\n

    An even larger economic ‘black swan’ event will be when foreign creditors rise up against the USA. Yet, not only is that knowable based upon the accumulation of USA debt, it is biblically-prophesied:<\/p>\n

    3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end<\/strong> it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come<\/strong>, It will not tarry…5 Indeed, because he transgresses by wine, He is a proud man… 6 “Will not all these take up a proverb against him, And a taunting riddle against him, and say, ‘Woe to him who increases What is not his–how long? And to him who loads himself with many pledges’? 7 Will not your creditors rise up suddenly?<\/strong> Will they not awaken who oppress you? And you will become their booty. <\/strong>8 Because you have plundered many nations, All the remnant of the people shall plunder you. <\/strong>Because of men\u2019s blood And the violence of the land and the city, And of all who dwell in it. (Habakkuk 2:3,5,6-8).<\/p>\n

    13 “Behold, therefore, I beat My fists at the dishonest profit which you have mad<\/strong>e, and at the bloodshed which has been in your midst. 14 Can your heart endure, or can your hands remain strong, in the days when I shall deal with you? I, the Lord, have spoken, and will do it. 15 I will scatter you among the nations, disperse you throughout the countries<\/strong>, and remove your filthiness completely from you. (Ezekiel 22:13-15)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    Borrowing money that will not be paid back is a “dishonest profit” which the American and British peoples have been living on for the past several years (as is the “quantitative easing” programs for the US Federal Reserve; see also Doubling QE3 is not good<\/a> and the YouTube video The Debt Crisis Will Be Worse Than Most Imagine<\/a>). The Anglo-power will be scattered for this and their filthiness (see also Will the Anglo-Nations be Divided?<\/a>). Some will consider these ‘black swan’ events, but they were predicted thousands of years ago.<\/p>\n

    China is concerned about many things involving the USA and wants to curb the influence of the USA, reduce its risks for ‘black swan’ events that will affect the USA, and position itself to take advantage of obvious USA weaknesses.<\/p>\n

    Yet, while China does have a certain amount of economic and military power, it will not be the primary power that will surpass and takeover the USA (see Is China THE Threat to the United States of America?<\/a>). The Bible is clear that the nation with the ‘strongest fortresses’ will be taken over by a European military (Daniel 11:39) and economic power (cf. Revelation 13,18), biblically referred to as the King of the North<\/a> (Daniel 11:40). And that is not China.<\/p>\n

    USA allies such as Canada and the United Kingdom will end up in a similar situation to the USA as well.<\/p>\n

    Yet, some of the USA’s Anglo-Saxon allies like Australia and New Zealand may end up being dominated by China, Japan, and\/or other Asians.<\/p>\n

    China sees that the USA is in decline. It is trying to signal to the world that it is rising and the USA is declining.\u00a0 And while that is correct, China will have its own problems too (and has various ones now).\u00a0 But these are events to notice.<\/p>\n

    As Jesus<\/a> and the Apostle Paul<\/a> taught:<\/p>\n

    35 Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming \u2014 in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning \u2014\u00a0\u00a0 36 lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping.\u00a0 37 And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!”\u00a0\u00a0 (Mark 13:35-37)<\/p>\n

    3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. (1 Thessalonians 5:3-6)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    Those that heed the admonitions of Jesus<\/a> and the Apostle Paul<\/a> and properly understand end-time prophecy will not be surprised by the relatively economic decline of the USA and the other Anglo-Saxon nations.<\/p>\n
