The homosexual lobby and its supporters have continued with their plan to squelch dissent and gain revenge against those who had publicly opposed their agenda.\u00a0 A reader sent me the following:<\/p>\n

After the group Right Wing Watch reported the twins who star in HGTV\u2019s recently greenlit reality series Flip It Forward<\/em> are anti-gay activists, the network said this morning it had given the hook to the series, which was set to debut in October.\u00a0Yesterday, HGTV said it was \u201ccurrently in the process of reviewing all information about the Benhams and we will provide an update as soon as possible.\u201d Then came a tweet…:<\/p>\n

HGTV has decided not to move forward with the Benham Brothers’ series.<\/p>\n

Right Wing Watch reported Tuesday that David Benham had led a prayer rally outside of the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, NC in 2012, in which he told conservative radio host Janet Mefferd that America\u2019s Christian majority must repent for tolerating \u00a0\u201chomosexuality and its agenda that is attacking the nation\u201d and \u201cdemonic ideologies tak[ing] our universities and our public school systems.\u201d He also said his brother had joined him in the prayer protest. The group also claimed David leads protests outside of abortion clinics.<\/p>\n

HGTV announced at its upfront presentation last month in Los Angeles that it had picked up the home-flipping series about brothers\u00a0David and Jason Benham. \u00a0http:\/\/www.deadline.com\/2014\/05\/hgtv-pulls-new-home-flipping-series-after-report-emerges-identifying-its-stars-as-anti-gay-activists\/<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Notice the HGTV had originally said it would air the program.\u00a0 While it could have changed its mind for many reasons, this is still a concern.<\/p>\n

May 10, 2014 \/ 06:01 am (CNA\/EWTN News<\/a>).- Twin brothers David and Jason Benham have said they are \u201csaddened\u201d that their reality show about giving houses to poor persons was cancelled following controversy over their opposition to abortion and same-sex marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith all of the grotesque things that can be seen and heard on television today you would think there would be room for two twin brothers who are faithful to our families, committed to biblical principles, and dedicated professionals,\u201d the two said in a May 8 statement.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf our faith costs us a television show then so be it.\u201d…<\/p>\n

David added, \u201cwe love all people. I love homosexuals. I love Islam, (and) Muslims, and my brother and I would never discriminate.\u201d<\/p>\n

“Never have I ever spoken against homosexuals, as individuals, and gone against them. I speak about an agenda.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd that’s really what the point of this is \u2014 is that there is an agenda that is seeking to silence the voices of men and women of faith.\u201d<\/p>\n

James Arnold, editor of the legal group Alliance Defending Freedom\u2019s Alliance Alert, said the cancellation is \u201chardly the first time something like this has happened.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhether it was in television technology, or public health, we have seen this numerous times before.\u201d<\/p>\n

He cited the controversy over \u201cDuck Dynasty\u201d television star Phil Robertson, who was suspended for crude remarks expressing bafflement at homosexual attraction, and the resignation of Mozilla co-founder Brendan Eich after activists targeted him for his $1,000 donation to California\u2019s amendment defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman.<\/p>\n

Arnold contended that HGTV is \u201conly the latest\u201d to \u201cblacklist individuals\u201d for their views. \u00a0http:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/catholicnews\/2014\/05\/after-hgtv-show-cancellation-twins-warn-of-censorship\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Last year, someone was chastised who publicly stated that as a Christian he could not support the homosexuality of a US basketball star. He was essentially told that those type of comments are not acceptable in the \u201ctolerant\u201d society of the USA. Now the HGTV cancellation comes on the heels of Mozilla’s new CEO having to resign earlier this year for the ‘crime’ of donating to the campaign to support a constitutional amendment in California to define marriage as between a male and female years ago.\u00a0 And that amendment was approved by the majority of voters in California back then.<\/p>\n

The homosexual lobby and supporters are attempting to squelch future dissent as they take their revenge out on whoever they feel is vulnerable to their efforts. They will push against churches where they think they can have an impact.\u00a0 They will try to silence the Continuing<\/em> Church of God<\/a> if they think they can.<\/p>\n

The Bible is clear that the homosexual agenda is dangerous and it condemns not only homosexuality and lesbianism, but also those that condone it:<\/p>\n

26…For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.<\/p>\n

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.\u00a0 (Romans 1:26-32)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

But the homosexual lobby does not anyone to believe that.\u00a0 They want people to approve their actions which the Bible condemns.<\/p>\n

Liberal Western societies are not as open as many seem to pretend.\u00a0 The shutting of people’s speech also seems to have been prophesied:<\/p>\n

28 And there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, Causing them to err. (Isaiah 30:28)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The\u00a0 \u2018political correctness\u201d movement seems to have been prophesied.<\/p>\n

What should the true leaders of God\u2019s people, in the lands dominated by the descendants of Jacob, be doing now?\u00a0 Should we be “politically correct’?\u00a0 Or should we:<\/p>\n

1 \u201cCry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins. (Isaiah 58:1)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Bible tells of a time, which to a degree we are now in, when a certain amount of self-censorship will be needed:<\/p>\n

2 For I know your manifold transgressions
\nAnd your mighty sins:
\nAfflicting the just and taking bribes;
\nDiverting the poor from justice at the gate.
\n13 Therefore the prudent keep silent at that time,
\nFor it is an evil time. (Amos 5:12-13)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And while some COG groups overly \u201ckeep silent,\u201d hence pull-punches in proclamation, the reality is that there is not truly full freedom of truthful speech in countries like the USA without consequences.\u00a0 And this time will come when some things will be prudent to be silent about.<\/p>\n

However, the work will be done and it will trigger persecution (cf. Daniel 11:30-35).\u00a0 Jesus warned:<\/p>\n

9 Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.\u00a0 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.\u00a0 (Matthew 24:9-10)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Other restrictions are coming.<\/p>\n

The Bible talks about the fact that God will finish the work and cut it short (Roman 9:28). Notice also the following which could be related to that:<\/p>\n

11 \u201cBehold, the days are coming,\u201d says the Lord God,
\n\u201cThat I will send a famine on the land,
\nNot a famine of bread,
\nNor a thirst for water,
\nBut of hearing the words of the Lord.
\n12 They shall wander from sea to sea,
\nAnd from north to east;
\nThey shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord,
\nBut shall not find it. (Amos 8:11-12)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The above could only happen in the 21st century if the internet was down and\/or internet content related to the truth of God was no longer permitted. Governments are taking steps, including espionage and cyber warfare research, which could bring that about.<\/p>\n

I believe that the warning in Amos 8:11-12 is a reference to at least a coming internet censorship.\u00a0 This is likely to start just before the start of the time of Jacob\u2019s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7), also called the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:21).<\/p>\n

Perhaps under the guise of \u201cneutrality,\u201d perhaps under the guise of \u201cThe Patriot Act,\u201d perhaps under the guise of \u201cpublic welfare,\u201d perhaps because of alleged \u201cintolerance,\u201d calling parts of the COG message \u201chate speech\u201d and\/or national security threats\/issues, something will be done to stop perhaps all of the organized media efforts to proclaim biblical truths. A short work will be done (Romans 10:14-15), which will trigger the end (Matthew 24:14), and likely then the famine of the word (Amos 8:11-12).<\/p>\n

Those on Satan’s side will try to silence those who stand for the Bible (cf. Daniel 7:25), and while there will be some ‘successes’ that way, God’s plan will be implemented and ultimately, His kingdom will come (cf. Daniel 7:26-27).<\/p>\n
