The green hue<\/span> is a sign of cyanogen<\/strong> (a poisonous gas<\/strong>)<\/span> and diatomic carbon (C2<\/sub>) in the comet’s atmosphere; both substances <\/strong>glow\u00a0green when exposed to sunlight in the near-vacuum of space. This green color could intensify in the week ahead as the comet nears and brightens to a predicted magnitude of 5.7.”\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 – SpaceWeather<\/strong> Dec 27, 2007 <\/span>http:\/\/spaceweather.com\/<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Now, I do not believe that that Comet 8P\/Tuttle\u00a0will have a massive impact upon this planet, but the Bible indicates that something from the sky, most probably a comet, will.<\/p>\n Over 1900 years ago, notice what the Apostle John <\/a>was inspired to write in the Book of Revelation 8:10-11:<\/p>\n Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water.\u00a0 The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n And while that does not have to be a comet, it certainly sounds like one.<\/p>\n Why?<\/p>\n In addition to looking like a star falling from the heavens looking like a torch, the comets appear with cyanogen.\u00a0 Astronomers state hydrogen cyanide on comets may be their source of cyanogen gas.<\/p>\n Interestingly,\u00a0the cyanogen gas mixes with water to form hydrogen cyanide, which has an almond odor and bitter taste, and reportedly causes death at concentrations over 5 parts per million.<\/p>\n And thus for Bible skeptics, the fact that before humans had any idea that comets could produce a poisonous bitter water, it is recorded in the Bible.
