There are many claimed Church of God groups.\u00a0 Which should you be part of? Dr. Thiel was raised Roman Catholic and explained why he rejected both Catholicism and Protestantism, as well as why he has been particular about WHICH Church of God.\u00a0 He explains various standards from the Bible to encourage all to support the most faithful Church of God which is a remnant of the Philadelphia portion of the Church of God which began under Herbert Armstrong in 1933.\u00a0 He explains some of what issues that other claimed COG groups have, and prophetic issues related to the Great Tribulation.\u00a0 He explains the proper priorities of the most faithful, as well as certain doctrines that the faithful would be expected to hold fast to.<\/p>\n

\nThe Philadelphia Church Era<\/a> was predominant circa 1933 A.D. to 1986 A.D. The old Radio Church of God and old Worldwide Church of God, now the remnant of that era is basically the most faithful in the Church of God, like who hold to the beliefs and practices of the Continuing<\/a><\/em> Church of God<\/a>.
\nThe Laodicean Church Era <\/a>has been predominant circa 1986 A.D. to present. The Laodiceans are non-Philadelphians who mainly descended from the old WCG or its offshoots.\u00a0 They do not properly understand the work or biblical prophecies and will face the Great Tribulation<\/a> if they do not repent.
\nStatement of Beliefs of the Continuing<\/em> Church of God<\/a> “Contend earnestly for the faith once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 3, NKJV), “Let brotherly love (Philadelphia) continue” (Hebrews 13:1) “\u2026continuing stedfastly in the teaching of the apostles” (Acts 2:42 YLT). <\/em> So, what does that really mean in terms of specific beliefs?
