Bengali Easter celebration<\/font><\/strong><\/p>\n

On Easter, the Bengali Evangelical Association held a Bengali-language celebration in Loma Linda, CA. The service was organized with other Bengali\u00a0leaders as a sanctuary\u00a0to the many Bengalis in the Los Angeles area who feel in need of a\u00a0spiritual\u00a0home base. <\/font><\/p>\n

Dr. John Biswas, a WCG elder (right)<\/span>, is looked on\u00a0by the Bengali people in Southern California <\/span>as\u00a0their pastor and leader and has been pressured to\u00a0organize this sort of gathering in their own language\u00a0and culture, hence this Easter service and social gathering. <\/font><\/p>\n

Of course, the early Church observed Passover.\u00a0 It was essentially because of cowardice and compromise with paganism that Easter replaced\u00a0Passover for the majority of those who claimed some version of Christianity.\u00a0 Three articles of possible interest could include:<\/font><\/em><\/p>\n
