There are two more Republican party candidates for the US presidency:<\/p>\n

The GOP presidential field grew by two Monday as retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson and former technology executive Carly Fiorina both announced they are running for president.<\/p>\n

The two new candidates enter a quickly expanding GOP field, with another Republican — former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee — set to make his announcement on Tuesday. Together, Carson and Fiorina add to the diversity on the Republican side; Fiorina is the first, and possibly only, female Republican in the race, while Carson is the first black candidate of either party to enter the campaign.<\/p>\n

Carson formally launched his campaign in his hometown of Detroit on Monday.<\/p>\n

“I’m Ben Carson, and I’m a candidate for president of the United States,” Carson said, after being introduced with a series of musical acts.<\/p>\n

In his soft-spoken tone, Carson blasted big government — and the Affordable Care Act — while also acknowledging his history of controversial comments. …<\/p>\n

“I’m not politically correct,” he said, to applause. “I’m probably never going to be politically correct, because I’m not a politician. I don’t want to be a politician. … Politicians do what is politically expedient. And I want to do what’s right.”<\/p>\n

Carly Fiorina acknowledged that she would have an uphill battle to the White House after her official campaign launch<\/a> Monday morning in response to questions about her low polling and fundraising numbers.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think we have time. I think our path going forward is to continue to meet with as many people as possible, to continue to talk with people about the necessity now to re-imagine government, to continue to talk about why someone from outside the professional political class makes the most sense for our nation,\u201d the former CEO of Hewlett-Packard told reporters in a conference call. \u201cWe won\u2019t raise the most money of anyone in our field for sure, but we will raise sufficient money.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fiorina said the top two things she would use her power as president to do would be to go to zero-based budgeting, a process that would force every line item in the federal budget to be justified, and to better implement technology in the federal government to get direct feedback from citizens.\u00a0http:\/\/time.com\/3845352\/carly-fiorina-2016-campaign-president\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Neither Ben Carson nor Carly Fiorina seem to have a massive following, but things can change.\u00a0 Perhaps, I should add here, that Ben Carson is a Sabbath-keeper and member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (more on that religion can be found in the article SDA\/CCOG Differences: Two Horned Beast of Revelation and 666<\/a>).<\/p>\n

This differs from candidate Marco Rubio and likely candidate Jeb Bush, as they both seem to have larger followings.\u00a0 As far as Marco Rubio goes, he has more acceptance from the mainstream press than perhaps all the other current Republican candidates.\u00a0 Marco Rubio, and his acceptance of parts of the homosexual agenda, should show voters that many Republican candidates truly will not stand in the gap (Ezekiel 22:30) to try to stop serious slides towards immorality in the USA.<\/p>\n

No candidate that has been proposed that I am aware of has laid out any serious plan to reverse abortion policies or the homosexual agenda, despite some comments about their personal views of these issues.<\/p>\n

The USA needs national repentance, otherwise it is doomed. It is almost impossible to believe that the next USA president would call for meaningful repentance before the USA is hit with more massive problems. The USA needs the return of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God<\/a>.<\/p>\n
