COGwriter<\/a><\/p>\n For a long time, I have written that the nations in Latin America and the Caribbean would tend to turn away from the USA.\u00a0 They seem to have taken a step in that direction:<\/p>\n Wednesday, 24 February 2010<\/p>\n Latin American and Caribbean nations have agreed to set up a new regional body without the US and Canada…<\/strong><\/p>\n The Cancun summit has also unanimously backed Argentina’s claim over the British-owned Falklands.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/span>http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/2\/hi\/americas\/8531266.stm<\/span><\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Whether or not this “bloc” will hold, though, is still up in the air.<\/p>\n But it does show that there is a sentiment in the Americas that the USA and Canada are too remote and\/or out-of-touch to be part of certain solutions in the rest of the Western Hemisphere.\u00a0 Ultimately that hemisphere will apparently align with Europe.\u00a0 The bloc might be a step towards that direction.<\/p>\n The article mentioned the position of the bloc on the Falkland situation.\u00a0 The Falkland Islands are one of the few remain “sea gates” that the United Kingdom still holds.\u00a0 Bible prophecy hints that all the sea gates that were gained with blessings from God will be lost because of disobedience–so ultimately the UK will lose them.\u00a0 I am fairly certain that the Europeans will take control of Gibraltar at some time from the UK.\u00a0 But it may take some years for one or both of these to happen (though it could be quicker).<\/p>\n Some articles of possibly related interest may include:<\/em><\/p>\n Mexico, Central America, South America, and Brazil in Prophecy<\/a> [Espa\u00f1ol: M\u00e9xico, America Central, Suram\u00e9rica, y el Brasil en profec\u00edal<\/a>] [Portugu\u00eas: M\u00e9xico, Am\u00e9rica Central, \u00c1m\u00e9rica do Sul, e Brasil na profecia<\/a>] What will happen to those of Latin America?
