The French Supreme Court has approved mass surveillance of internet and other data:<\/p>\n

PARIS\u2014France’s Constitutional Council has ruled that a bill legalizing broad surveillance of terrorism suspects doesn’t violate the country’s constitution.Friday’s decision was the final step before the law can come into effect.<\/p>\n

The bill was proposed long before the January attacks in Paris by Islamic extremists, but the government said that had added to its urgency.<\/p>\n

One measure will force communication and Internet firms to allow intelligence services to install electronic \u201clock-boxes\u201d to record metadata from all Internet users in France, allowing algorithmic analysis to detect potentially suspicious behavior.<\/p>\n

The data will be anonymous, but intelligence agents could follow up with a request to an independent panel for deeper surveillance that could identify users.<\/p>\n

The measure has drawn harsh criticism from advocates of civil liberties.\u00a0http:\/\/www.voanews.com\/content\/frances-top-court-oks-controversial-surveillance-bill\/2876818.html<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Despite European<\/a> complaints about USA espionage, various European nations have decided to pursue certain aspects of USA practices.<\/p>\n

But this is not limited to Europe:<\/p>\n

Pakistan’s intelligence agency has been trying to build a sophisticated spying network that would rival the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) in its scope, recording the phone calls and Internet data of hundreds of millions of people worldwide, according to a new report.<\/p>\n

The report, published<\/a> this week by U.K.-based firm\u00a0Privacy International said that Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI)\u00a0tried to tap on\u00a0global Internet traffic through undersea cables, and that it had contracted intermediary companies to buy spying toolkits from Chinese and Western firms for domestic surveillance. The network it sought to create, the report warned, “would rival some of the world’s most powerful surveillance programs,” including those of the U.S. and the U.K.<\/p>\n

Pakistan, which has a long history of suppressing activism and political dissent, was\u00a0already a third-party provider\u00a0to the NSA’s surveillance network, but the report said that the Asian country is now developing its own software and infrastructure that would not be reliant on the U.S. \u00a0http:\/\/www.ibtimes.com\/pakistan-building-global-internet-surveillance-rival-nsa-report-2023087<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Although the following prophecy has a future fulfillment, it came to mind when I read about the Pakistani plans:<\/p>\n

The leaks by Edward Snowden have shaken up the world (see also The Snowden Leaks are Leading to the Destruction of the USA<\/a>).\u00a0 Nations that claim to be concerned about privacy have basically decided that they should also collect data.\u00a0 Nations that always wanted more data have decided to go ahead and pursue it, figuring if they are following the example of the USA that no one can blame them too much.<\/p>\n

Why be concerned about all of this surveillance?<\/p>\n

Because it shows that the nations of the world are getting closer to a time when certain biblical prophecies will be fulfilled:<\/p>\n

15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.<\/p>\n

18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:15-18, NKJV)<\/p>\n

It will likely take computers aided with artificial intelligence to aid in the fulfillment of the above scriptures, as well as cyber-spying\/monitoring. I do believe that cyber monitoring will be used by the European Beast<\/a>, King of the North<\/a>, 666 power<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This type of surveillance could not have happened during the time of the Apostle John<\/a> as there was no real way to monitor many financial transactions then (despite the fact that ‘preterists’ believe this was fulfilled almost 2000 years ago, see also The Dangerous Rise of Preterists<\/a>).\u00a0 The same was true for all the centuries that followed until the late 20th and now the 21st century.\u00a0 But now not only does the technology exist to monitor most financial transactions, the political will is there as well.\u00a0 We are seeing it in more nations, which will make it more ‘acceptable’ when the final\u00a0European Beast<\/a>, King of the North<\/a>, 666 power<\/a> implements it.<\/p>\n

We are getting closer to the time of 666.<\/p>\n
