As long-term readers are aware, I, Dr. Bob Thiel, AKA COGwriter have frequently been a radio guest.<\/p>\n

There are two radio interviews currently scheduled for this morning and two for next Friday.<\/p>\n

I am scheduled to be interviewed on KZNG 1340 am of Hot Springs, Arkansas at 8:35 Central time. Topics expected to be covered include prophecy and factors involved in the decline of the USA and my book, Hillary Clinton, Prophecy, and the Destruction of the United States<\/a>, is also expected to be discussed.\u00a0 Actually, one of the reasons I wrote the book was to get more radio interviews.<\/p>\n

Then at 9:00 am Central time, I am scheduled to be interviewed on WGSO 990 am out of New Orleans, Louisiana (I do not know if it will be precisely at 7:00 am Pacific time\/9:00 am Central) or after the news at the top of the hour). Same topics.<\/p>\n

Next Friday, August 7, 2015, I am scheduled to be scheduled to be on KTSA 550am at 7:00 am Central time and 12:00 pm Central time out of San Antonio, Texas.<\/p>\n

I have been on radio at least 48 times already since the official formation of the Continuing<\/em> Church of God<\/a> just over than 2 1\/2 years ago.<\/p>\n

Doing secular radio interviews gives an opportunity to reach people who otherwise would not be as open to hearing the Church of God message.<\/p>\n

Of course, being on radio is something that COG leaders have done since no later than the 1930s. Radio was used so much to proclaim the gospel of the kingdom and other biblical messages, that after he left CG7, the late Herbert W. Armstrong<\/a> initially named his group the Radio Church of God.<\/p>\n

Here is a photograph that my wife Joyce took in 1994 of a building in Eugene, Oregon that had been used decades before by the old Radio Church of God (I believe it was their headquarters’ building in the 1940s):<\/p>\n

Anyway, radio is one of the forms of mass media that we in the Continuing<\/em> Church of God<\/a> use to teach people about Jesus’ gospel of the kingdom (Matthew 24:14), warn the world what is coming to pass (Ezekiel 33:1-10; watch also Go, Set a Watchman<\/a>), and provide other teachings (Matthew 28:19-20).<\/p>\n
