US government officials admit there is a terrorist threat from Syrian refugees, but dismiss it as not important enough:<\/em><\/p>\n

The Obama administration admitted this week that Islamic terrorists may infiltrate its Syrian refugee program \u2013 and then promptly told Americans their concerns were overblown.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe do have to be concerned about the possibility that a terrorist organization may seek to exploit our refugee resettlement process,\u201d Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson told reporters in Washington, D.C., Wednesday. \u201cThis is true of this country, that\u2019s true of every other country that accepts refugees.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n

Johnson\u2019s comments came just prior to a Fox News\u2019 report that more than\u00a0102,000 Syrians have become legal-permanent U.S. residents since 2012. The U.S. has also revoked more than 122,000 foreign-national visas since 2001, including 9,500 because of the threat of terrorism.<\/p>\n

Michele Thoren Bond, assistant secretary for the Bureau of Consular Affairs, told Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, during a House Oversight Committee meeting on Thursday that officials did not know what happened to those individuals, the network<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe sheer number of people arriving on all kinds of visas and with green cards, and possibly U.S. citizenship, makes it impossible for our counterterrorism authorities to keep track of them all, much less prevent them from carrying out attacks or belatedly try to deport them,\u201d Jessica Vaughan of the Center for Immigration Studies told Fox<\/a> Thursday. http:\/\/www.wnd.com\/2015\/12\/feds-warn-isis-trojan-horse-coming-to-u-s\/#2oujeBSfLpERHSg2.99<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

There are millions of Syrian refugees in the Middle East.\u00a0 The sheer number of Syrians already in the USA, plus the numbers that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have mentioned, are more than can be tracked the way the government normally tracks people.<\/p>\n

Does this pose a serious terrorist threat to the USA?<\/p>\n

Yes.<\/p>\n

Without being able to track them, it makes it easier for terrorists among them to operate.<\/p>\n

The bulk of the Syrians are Islamic, and a study of Muslims in the USA that came out several months ago found that there is a major risk:<\/p>\n

The Center for Security Policy (CSP) has released the results of a poll<\/a> showing alarmingly high levels of support for sharia law and violence among the American Muslim community.<\/p>\n

According to the nationwide survey, “significant minorities embrace supremacist notions that could pose a threat to America’s security and its constitutional form of government.”<\/p>\n

A majority (51 percent) of Muslims surveyed said they “should have the choice of being governed according to shariah.”<\/p>\n

Almost 30 percent of American Muslims believe it is legitimate to use violence “against those that insult the prophet Muhammad, the Qur’an, or Islamic faith.”<\/p>\n

One quarter of Muslims said that “violence against Americans here in the United States can be justified as part of the global jihad.”<\/p>\n

Even more ominous, “nearly one-fifth of Muslim respondents said that the use of violence in the United States is justified in order to make shariah the law of the land in this country,” the CSP polling data showed. http:\/\/www.americanthinker.com\/blog\/2015\/06\/poll_shows_high_levels_of_support_for_shariah_law_and_violence_among_american_muslims.html#ixzz3trmaHwv3<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So a quarter of Muslims in the USA believe that violence against Americans to support global jihad is justified.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the Bible warns of both terrorism as well as specifically warns about issues from Syrians.<\/p>\n

Notice some of the cursings warned of in the Bible:<\/p>\n

14’But if you do not obey Me, and do not observe all these commandments, 15 and if you despise My statutes, or if your soul abhors My judgments, so that you do not perform all My commandments, but break My covenant, 16 I also will do this to you: I will even appoint terror over you, wasting disease and fever which shall consume the eyes and cause sorrow of heart. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. 17 I will set My face against you, and you shall be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you shall reign over you, and you shall flee when no one pursues you (Leviticus 26:14-17).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Terrors (like terrorism) are prophesied for those who were blessed because of God’s promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And these curses have began. Since many in Canada are descended from children of Israel (like Ephraim), Canada is at real risk.<\/p>\n

The Bible also warns:<\/p>\n

25 The sword shall destroy outside; There shall be terror within<\/strong> (Deuteronomy 32:25)<\/p>\n

12 \u201cCry and wail, son of man; For it will be against My people, Against all the princes of Israel. Terrors including the sword will be against My people<\/strong>; Therefore strike your thigh. (Ezekiel 21:12)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Notice that terror will come from within according to Deuteronomy 32:25. Letting potential terrorists in is a major risk.<\/p>\n

Notice also something that Isaiah 9 talks about:<\/p>\n

8 The Lord sent a word against Jacob,
\nAnd it has fallen on Israel.
\n9 All the people will know \u2014
\nEphraim and the inhabitant of Samaria \u2014
\nWho say in pride and arrogance of heart:
\n10 ‘The bricks have fallen down,
\nBut we will rebuild with hewn stones;
\nThe sycamores are cut down,
\nBut we will replace them with cedars.”
\n11 Therefore the Lord shall set up
\nThe adversaries of Rezin against him,
\nAnd spur his enemies on,
\n12 The Syrians before and the Philistines behind;<\/strong>
\n And they shall devour Israel with an open mouth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For all this His anger is not turned away,
\nBut His hand is stretched out still…<\/p>\n

21 Manasseh shall devour Ephraim, and Ephraim Manasseh;
\nTogether they shall be against Judah.<\/p>\n

For all this His anger is not turned away,
\nBut His hand is stretched out still. (Isaiah 9:8-12,21)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This seems to be a reference related to terrorists from Syria and Palestine. Isaiah 9 seems to suggest that some of peoples who are alluded to in Psalm 83 (discussed later) will also harass Ephraim and Manasseh after they have suffered. Samaria tends to be a prophetic reference to the USA.<\/p>\n

While there is a place to take legitimate refugees, letting thousands of potential terrorists into the USA and elsewhere is a real risk.<\/p>\n

Perilous times are upon us (cf. 2 Timothy 3:1). And the USA seems determined to increase the risk of some of those perils.<\/p>\n
