Hyperinflation is again hitting Venezuela and Zimbabwe:<\/p>\n

While several years ago it was perhaps debatable in polite society that Venezuela\u2019s socialist economy would collapse ultimately unleashing hyperinflation, any doubt was put to rest early this year when the IMF\u2019s own inflationary forecast confirmed as much.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

However, while the international community had long accepted the inevitable fate of Maduro\u2019s socialist paradise, the local government sternly refused to admit reality and to avoid confirming what the local population already knew, it insisted on keeping the highest denomination bill in circulation at 100 bolivars, whose worth is approximately 8 cents on the black market, turning the most basic transactions into logistical nightmares and saddling banks with crippling money-handling costs. Economists and central bank employees say Mr. Maduro didn\u2019t want to acknowledge the country\u2019s inflation problem by printing bigger notes.<\/p>\n

This has finally changed,\u00a0and as the WSJ reports<\/a>, Venezuela\u2019s government, slammed by hyperinflation has finally thrown in the towel, and is planning to issue new bills in December with larger denominations\u2014up to 200 times higher than the current biggest bill, according to people familiar with the plans. The move marks an implicit acknowledgment by the government that skyrocketing prices have slashed the value of the currency<\/p>\n

The new coins and notes will go up to 20,000 bolivars, according to people close to the central bank, the finance ministry, the country\u2019s banks and bill suppliers. This would make the biggest note worth $15 on the black market.<\/p>\n

And since by doing so the government will tacitly admit that it has lost control over prices, It will also create a self-fulfilling prophecy of\u00a0even higher prices, sending the country\u2019s hyperinflation into overdrive.\u00a0http:\/\/www.blacklistednews.com\/Venezuela_Throws_In_The_Towel_On_Hyperinflation%3A_Will_Print_200x_Higher-Denominated_Bills\/54939\/0\/38\/38\/Y\/M.html<\/a><\/p>\n

After becoming the most famous case of hyperinflation in modern history roughly ten years ago, Zimbabwe is about to have another go at conjuring paper money out of thin air. …<\/p>\n

Some economists estimate that Zimbabwe\u2019s hyperinflation peaked at more than 500 BILLION percent\u2013 an incomprehensible figure unless you\u2019ve lived through it.<\/p>\n

In 2009 it all ended. The government stopping printing money, and Zimbabwe became a \u2018hard currency\u2019 economy.<\/p>\n

US dollars, euros, pounds, South African rand, and even Chinese renminbi have been circulating here ever since; merchants and consumers basically use whatever currency they can to engage in transactions.<\/p>\n

Essentially there is no Zimbabwe dollar anymore.<\/p>\n

But that hasn\u2019t solved any of the country\u2019s problems.<\/p>\n

In the late 1990s, Zimbabwe\u2019s GDP was roughly $30 billion. Today it\u2019s just $13.5 billion, than $1,000 per capita. …<\/p>\n

But apparently these politicians have memories like goldfish. Because their grand solution now is to go back to the roaring 2000s and start printing money again.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re calling them \u201cbond notes\u201d, and as you can imagine, the government has already promised that they\u2019ll exercise restraint and print these new bond notes in very limited quantities.<\/p>\n

Of course, that\u2019s the same thing they said 15 years ago.<\/p>\n

And it\u2019s the same thing that every government and central bank says when they embark on an initiative to print money.<\/p>\n

This is such typical thinking, and sadly not limited to Zimbabwe<\/p>\n

People in power across the world, including in North America and Europe, rely on this incredibly limited playbook.<\/p>\n

They think they can engineer prosperity by going into debt and conjuring money out of thin air.<\/p>\n

They think they can legislate and regulate their way to a quality healthcare or education system.<\/p>\n

And when the majority of their initiatives fail, or even have the exact opposite effect as intended, they don\u2019t learn from their mistakes.<\/p>\n

They simply print more money, pass more laws, and go deeper into debt.\u00a0http:\/\/www.valuewalk.com\/2016\/10\/zimbabwe-hyperinflation\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As the second article pointed out, the West has done the same thing.<\/p>\n

And actually, the USA has done this more than anyone else on the planet that we know of.<\/p>\n

The Bible has an end time prophecy that those who read it may want to run:<\/p>\n

2 Then the Lord answered me and said:<\/p>\n

\u201cWrite the vision
\nAnd make it plain on tablets,
\nThat he may run who reads it.
\n3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
\nBut at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. (Habakkuk 2:2-3)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What is this end time prophecy about that should cause people to run? It is a prophecy about debt accumulation:<\/p>\n

6 \u201cWill not all these take up a proverb against him,
\nAnd a taunting riddle against him, and say,
\n\u2018Woe to him who increases
\nWhat is not his \u2014 how long?
\nAnd to him who loads himself with many pledges\u2019?
\n7 Will not your creditors rise up suddenly?
\nWill they not awaken who oppress you?
\nAnd you will become their booty.
\n8 Because you have plundered many nations,
\nAll the remnant of the people shall plunder you (Habakkuk 2:6-8)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The USA is believed to be the most indebted nation in the history of the world. Habakkuk’s prophecy is for the end time and cannot be directed towards the tiny nation called Israel. Israel simply does not have enemy creditors. But the USA has actual, past, and potential enemies as creditors.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, consider that while the USA has been accumulating pledges in the form of US Treasury bonds and notes, the Chinese have been accumulating gold (see China, Gold, and the AIIB<\/a>). Various ones in Europe have been repatriating gold from the USA, like the Germans (see Germany is repatriating and accumulating gold\u2013why?<\/a>). Germany is getting more gold. The Bible teaches that the final King of the North<\/a> will accumulate gold and take it from Egypt in Daniel 11:40-43; cf. Revelation 18).<\/p>\n

This diluting of the value of currency (called \u2018dross\u2019 anciently) is condemned in the Bible.<\/p>\n

4 Take away the dross from silver (Proverbs 25:4a).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

22 Your silver has become dross, Your wine mixed with water. (Isaiah 1:22)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

25 I will turn My hand against you, And thoroughly purge away your dross, And take away all your alloy. (Isaiah 1:25)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

18 \u201cSon of man, the house of Israel has become dross to Me; they are all bronze, tin, iron, and lead, in the midst of a furnace; they have become dross from silver. 19 Therefore thus says the Lord God: \u2018Because you have all become dross, therefore behold, I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem. 20 As men gather silver, bronze, iron, lead, and tin into the midst of a furnace, to blow fire on it, to melt it; so I will gather you in My anger and in My fury, and I will leave you there and melt you. 21 Yes, I will gather you and blow on you with the fire of My wrath, and you shall be melted in its midst. 22 As silver is melted in the midst of a furnace, so shall you be melted in its midst; then you shall know that I, the Lord, have poured out My fury on you.\u2019\u201d (Ezekiel 22:18-22)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Although the Bible warns against using dross and diluting the money supply, modern \u2018experts\u2019 have a different view. The wrong views on economics will lead to economic problems and ultimately the total crash<\/em> of the dollar of the USA. China and others see some of this.<\/p>\n

Hyperinflation did not help Zimbabwe and is not going to solve the problems that Venezuela faces.<\/p>\n

There are disastrous changes that will come to the USA (Daniel 11:39)–and its debt practices–which one day will cause massive hyperinflation–will be a cause (cf. Habakkuk 2:6-8).<\/p>\n

Seeing what Zimbabwe and Venezuela have faced should get American politicians and economists to take note and recommend biblically-responsible fiscal policies.<\/p>\n

But since many leading so-called ‘economists’ are political hacks and\/or have a political agenda, do not expect too many prominent ones to have sufficient influence to resolve the problems in the USA.<\/p>\n

Hyperinflation will hit the USA and it will be worse than what Zimbabwe and Venezuela have experienced.<\/p>\n
