PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Jumping ahead of investigators, President-elect Donald Trump is blaming Islamic terrorists for deadly violence in Turkey and Germany and vowing anew to eradicate their regional and global networks. …<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Trump called the brazen shooting of Russia’s ambassador to Turkey as he attended a photo exhibit “a violation of all rules of civilized order.” He added that a “radical Islamic terrorist” had assassinated the diplomat, Andrei Karlov.<\/p>\n

Turkish authorities identified the gunman as Mevlut Mert Altintas, a member of Ankara’s riot police squad, and said he was later killed in a shootout with police. Altintas shouted in Turkish about the Syrian city of Aleppo and also yelled “Allahu akbar,” Arabic for “God is great.”<\/p>\n

In Berlin, where at least 12 people were killed, Trump said the Islamic State group “and other Islamist terrorists continually slaughter Christians in their communities and places of worship as part of their global jihad.”<\/p>\n

He added that these terrorists and their regional and worldwide networks “must be eradicated from the face of the Earth” and pledged to carry out that mission with “all freedom-loving partners.” …<\/p>\n

He later tweeted: “Today there were terror attacks in Turkey, Switzerland and Germany – and it is only getting worse. The civilized world must change thinking!”<\/p>\n

In Zurich, police said three people were wounded when a gunman opened fire in the prayer hall of a mosque frequented by Somali immigrants.<\/p>\n

The German chancellor has said the deadly truck attack on a Berlin Christmas market was likely an act of terrorism. Interior Minister de Maiziere confirmed the main suspect is a Pakistani asylum-seeker.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said she was “horrified, shaken\u00a0and deeply saddened” on Tuesday about a truck attack that killed at least a dozen people at a Berlin Christmas market.<\/p>\n

“I want you to know that all of us, a whole country, is joined with you in mourning and sadness,” Merkel told reporters in the German capital.<\/p>\n

A truck slammed into a crowded Christmas market in central Berlin on Monday night, killing at least 12 people and wounding 48, 18 of them seriously, German\u00a0Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere said at a press conference. Only a few of the victims have been identified so far, he said.<\/p>\n

“There is much we still do not know with sufficient\u00a0certainty but we must, as things stand now, assume it was a\u00a0terrorist attack,” Merkel said.<\/p>\n

During his press conference\u00a0De Maiziere said “there is no doubt anymore that the horrible event last night was an attack.”<\/p>\n

Suspect denies involvement<\/strong><\/p>\n

The main suspect in the attack is a 23-year-old Pakistani citizen who arrived in Germany on December 31, 2015\u00a0and had applied for asylum, the Interior Minister said. The man has denied any involvement in the attack.<\/p>\n

So-called Islamic State (IS) has said one of its militants carried out the lorry attack on a Berlin Christmas market, which left 12 people dead.<\/p>\n

The ‘Islamic State’ has encouraged this type of truck attack in Christmas markets and could have something to do with the attack in Berlin.<\/p>\n

Some blame Angela Merkel’s migrant policies for the attack in Berlin:<\/p>\n

Germany’s far-right has blamed Angela Merkel’s immigration policy for the Berlin Christmas attacks as the chancellor insisted terrorists will not destroy ‘freedom’ in the country. …

This morning, Merkel faced a furious backlash over her open-doors policy on immigration having\u00a0allowed nearly a million people fleeing conflict and poverty in the Middle East and Africa to arrive in the country this year and last.<\/span>Marcus Pretzell, a prominent member of the anti-immigration Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, tweeted: ‘When will the German state of law strike back? When will this cursed hypocrisy finally stop? These are Merkel’s dead! (hash)Nice (hash)Berlin.’<\/span><\/p>\n

Officials of the Office for the Protection of the Constitution, the BfV, had for long warned of potentially hundreds of terrorists disguised as refugees making it to Germany hidden among the real migrants.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now the nightmare has come true for Germany: a country which has not sent its troops to fight anywhere since the Second World War is now at war with ISIS.<\/span><\/p>\n

Merkel has so far refused to amend her refugee policy, however, insisting that Germany can take in large numbers of migrants in the years to come. Allies and critics alike say she ignored the warning signs of calamity at her peril.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Bible shows that the time will come when a European leader will rise up against a power based in the predominantly Islamic regions of the Middle East and Northern Africa:<\/p>\n

The \u2018Great Monarch\u2019 also called the \u2018great prince of the North\u2019 that is spoken of above is quite similar to the final King of the North<\/a> that the Bible warns against. Both Catholic and biblical prophecy teach that this leader will be a European, probably at least partially of German heritage and he will fight those of the Arab\/African lands. As I have written before, do not be surprised that Islam will be pushed out of Europe to a major degree (Daniel 11:36-38; Revelation 13:4,8,11-17).<\/p>\n

Notice that the \u2018great prince of the North\u2019 is expected to subdue an Islamic Empire. Notice that the Bible teaches that the \u2018king of the North<\/a>\u2018 will go into the Middle East and North Africa and eliminate the leader called the \u2018king of the South<\/a>.\u2019<\/p>\n

Many in Europe have realized that the Islamic refugees do not want to integrate into European society. Many immigrants want to impose Islamic culture, and that scares a lot of Europeans.<\/p>\n

More and more in Europe want to do something about the Islamic situation. Angela Merkel\u2019s statements a while back that Germany plans to send many migrants back after the wars in Syria and Iraq are over (see Germany\u2019s Merkel says that refugees must go back after the war is over<\/a>), may have temporarily reassured many Germans that something is at least planned to be done. She also commented a couple of weeks ago that Germany will not tolerate Islamic sharia law (see Germany\u2019s Merkel want to ban the burqa and not tolerate any version of sharia<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Despite Angela Merkel\u2019s pledge to send Syrian refugees back, not only do many Europeans want them out now, many of the Muslims will not want to go home to lands that are often more dangerous and whose economies are not as wealthy. Expect conflict, as well as change, in Europe.<\/p>\n
