WikiLeaks on Tuesday released what it said is the full hacking capacity of the CIA in a stunning 8,000-plus page disclosure the anti-secrecy website contends is \u201cthe largest ever publication of confidential documents on the agency.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 8,761 documents and files — released as \u201cVault 7 Part 1\u201d<\/a> and titled \u201cYear Zero\u201d — were obtained from an \u201cisolated, high-security network\u201d at the CIA\u2019s Center for Cyber Intelligence in Langley, Va., a press release from the website said. The trove had been \u201ccirculated among former U.S. government hackers and contractors,\u201d one of whom \u201crecently\u201d gave the archive to WikiLeaks.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe do not comment on the authenticity or content of purported intelligence documents,” a CIA spokesperson told Fox News.<\/p>\n

The collection of purported intelligence tools includes information on CIA-developed malware — bearing names such as \u201cAssassin\u201d and \u201cMedusa\u201d — intended to target iPhones, Android phones, smart TVs and Microsoft, Mac and Linux operating systems, among others. An entire unit in the CIA is devoted to inventing programs to hack data from Apple products, according to WikiLeaks. …<\/p>\n

One document appears to show the CIA was trying to \u201cinfect\u201d vehicle control systems in cars and trucks for unspecified means.<\/p>\n

WikiLeaks hinted that the capabilites revealed in Tuesday’s disclosure could have even darker utility than simply spying.<\/p>\n

The initial release, which WikiLeaks said was only the first part of the document collection, included 7,818 web pages with 943 attachments, the group said. The entire archive of C.I.A. material consists of several hundred million lines of computer code, it said.<\/p>\n

Among other disclosures that, if confirmed, would rock the technology world, the WikiLeaks release said that the C.I.A. and allied intelligence services had managed to bypass encryption on popular phone and messaging services such as Signal, WhatsApp and Telegram. According to the statement from WikiLeaks, government hackers can penetrate Android phones and collect \u201caudio and message traffic before encryption is applied.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source of the documents was not named. WikiLeaks said the documents, which it called Vault 7, had been \u201ccirculated among former U.S. government hackers and contractors in an unauthorized manner, one of whom has provided WikiLeaks with portions of the archive.\u201d<\/p>\n

WikiLeaks said the source, in a statement, set out policy questions that \u201curgently need to be debated in public, including whether the C.I.A.\u2019s hacking capabilities exceed its mandated powers and the problem of public oversight of the agency.\u201d The source, the group said, \u201cwishes to initiate a public debate about the security, creation, use, proliferation and democratic control of cyberweapons.\u201d<\/p>\n

The documents, from the C.I.A\u2019s Center for Cyber Intelligence, are dated from 2013 to 2016, and WikiLeaks described them as \u201cthe largest ever publication of confidential documents on the agency.\u201d\u00a0https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2017\/03\/07\/world\/europe\/wikileaks-cia-hacking.html?_r=0<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Last year’s email releases by WikiLeaks is believed to have hurt Hillary Clinton’ chances to win the presidential election that Donald Trump ended up winning. Of course, some of the materials released by WikiLeaks could be inaccurate, false, modified, and even fabricated. But reports from various ones indicate that many are in fact real.<\/p>\n

Scandal: <\/strong>President Trump’s tweet-storm over the weekend has once again stirred a very big pot, essentially charging that former President Obama oversaw a wiretapping operation against Trump and his campaign aides before he took office.<\/p>\n

It is a serious charge made on a frivolous venue, but based on what we know of Obama’s past presidential behavior, it deserves to be fully investigated.<\/p>\n

Let us admit right up front: An angry tweet is not the same as a detailed charge or legal challenge. On that basis, many in the Democratic Party have ridiculed Trump’s allegations, as if they were beneath consideration.<\/p>\n

But they aren’t.<\/p>\n

In fact, the charges we’ve heard have at least pass the smell test when it comes to Obama. The media and Democrats have been beside themselves with anger, noting that Trump’s tweet contained no substantiation of his charges or evidence. True enough. Hard to get that into 140 words.<\/p>\n

What’s bothersome, however, is that the Democrats since last summer have been pushing a narrative that the Trump campaign had dangerous and perhaps illegal contacts with Russian officials, and that Russian officials meddled in our election and influenced it.<\/p>\n

The fact is, there is no evidence of any kind that the Trump campaign coordinated, strategized or in any way politically colluded with Russia and its leader Vladimir Putin. Or that Russians, who evidence shows did meddle in the campaign, had any decisive impact at all.<\/p>\n

Yet, despite the lack of evidence, the false Russian allegations have remained a mainstay of mainstream media coverage of Trump for over six months, and hardly a day goes by that Democratic Party leaders don’t mention it.<\/p>\n

The hypocrisy is stunning. The Democrats and their allies in the mostly leftwing Big Media have made a serious charge against Trump and his campaign that it can’t back up, but continues to investigate.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, we know for a fact that President Obama repeatedly went on intelligence fishing expeditions of questionable legality, while encouraging a lawless, anything-goes environment among his own Cabinet.<\/p>\n

He swept up the telephone records of dozens of AP reporters, spied on Fox reporter James Rosen, allowed his IRS to go after conservative groups, openly and repeatedly lied about knowing about Hillary Clinton’s illegal use of an unsecured home-brew email server while secretary of state, tolerated outright perjury by administration officials over the Benghazi fiasco, and did nothing about lies made under oath by Attorneys General Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch about, respectively, the disastrous Fast and Furious program and Lynch’s questionable private conversations with former President Clinton while Hillary Clinton was under investigation.<\/p>\n

And this is only a partial list.<\/p>\n

Simply put, Obama’s time in office was marked by repeated violations of the law, but he suffered no consequences. The gutless media for the most part politely looked away, even though its members were some of the victims.<\/p>\n

Now here’s Trump’s Saturday morning tweet that started the brouhaha: “Is it legal for a sitting President to be ‘wire tapping’ a race for president prior to an election? Turned down by court earlier. A NEW LOW!”<\/p>\n

So Trump makes a charge based on previous media reports, and now the media imply he’s a madman, unhinged, a loose cannon, a danger. http:\/\/www.investors.com\/politics\/editorials\/investigate-obamagate\/<\/a><\/p>\n

After Trump secured the nomination, Obama\u2019s people filed a wiretapping request. As he was on the verge of winning, they did it again. After he won, they are doing everything they can to bring him down.<\/p>\n

It was always going to come down to this.<\/p>\n

One is the elected President of the United States. The other is the Anti-President who commands a vast network that encompasses the organizers of OFA, the official infrastructure of the DNC and Obama Anonymous, a shadow government of loyalists embedded in key positions across the government. …<\/p>\n

Obama Inc. had targeted Trump from the very beginning when it was clear he would be the nominee.<\/p>\n

Trump had locked down the GOP nomination in May. Next month there was a FISA request targeting him. The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court denied the request, and it is still unknown whether the request targeted Trump, or only his associates, but it\u2019s silly to pretend that the submission of such a request a month after he became the presumptive GOP nominee was apolitical.<\/p>\n

The second, narrower, FISA request came through in October. \u00a0This one was approved. The reason for getting a FISA request in October was even more obvious than June. October is the crucial month in presidential elections. It\u2019s the month of the \u201cOctober Surprise\u201d when the worst hit pieces based on the keenest opposition research is unleashed. Obama\u2019s opposition research on Trump involved eavesdropping on a server in Trump Tower. Nixon would have been very jealous.<\/p>\n

After the election, Obama Inc. began to spread out its bets. Some of his people migrated into his network of political organizations. Others remained embedded in the government. While the former would organize the opposition, the latter would sabotage, undermine and try to bring down Trump. …<\/p>\n

Obama Inc. has become a state within a state. It is a compartmentalized network of organizations, inside and outside the government, that claim that they are doing nothing illegal as individual groups because they are technically following the rules within each compartment, but the sheer scope of the illegality lies in the covert coordination between these \u201crevolutionary cells\u201d infecting our country.<\/p>\n

It is a criminal conspiracy of unprecedented scope. Above all else, it is the most direct attack yet on a country in which governments are elected by the people, not by powerful forces within the government.\u00a0https:\/\/www.frontpagemag.com\/fpm\/266022\/obamagate-exposing-obama-deep-state-daniel-greenfield<\/a><\/p>\n

Trump tweeted that his predecessor in the White House ordered, in October of last year, a wiretap of his campaign headquarters at Trump Tower, comparing Obama to Nixon and Watergate.<\/p>\n

While Obama and his spokespersons have denied ordering any such action, a careful reading of their denials leaves open the possibility of sensational executive overreach if not outright illegal activity.<\/p>\n

Andrew McCarthy, in an op-ed for National Review<\/a>, explained how, technically, a president doesn\u2019t \u201corder\u201d such surveillance measures. And just because a \u201cwiretap\u201d may not have been placed directly on a Trump Tower phone line doesn\u2019t mean other forms of surveillance weren\u2019t taken against Trump or his campaign surrogates.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis seems disingenuous on several levels. First, as Obama officials well know, under the FISA process, it is technically the FISA court that \u2018orders\u2019 surveillance. And by statute, it is the Justice Department, not the White House, that represents the government in proceedings before the FISA court. So, the issue is not whether Obama or some member of his White House staff \u2018ordered\u2019 surveillance of Trump and his associates. The issues are (a) whether the Obama Justice Department sought such surveillance authorization from the FISA court, and (b) whether, if the Justice Department did that, the White House was aware of or complicit in the decision to do so. Personally, given the explosive and controversial nature of the surveillance request we are talking about \u2013 an application to wiretap the presidential candidate of the opposition party, and some of his associates, during the heat of the presidential campaign, based on the allegation that the candidate and his associates were acting as Russian agents \u2013 it seems to me that there is less than zero chance that could have happened without consultation between the Justice Department and the White House.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As former Reagan deputy Attorney General Mark Levin pointed out\u00a0in a Fox News interview, the Obama DOJ under Loretta Lynch tried on two occasions to get FISA court approval to intercept communications between Trump campaign surrogates and Russian officials. The first attempt in June was rejected, then the DOJ came back in October with a more narrowly focused request that was granted. http:\/\/www.wnd.com\/2017\/03\/trumps-twitter-bomb-may-have-detonated-obamagate\/#0C6ySmmdG4SDCyms.99<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Barack Obama was said to have enjoyed authorizing drone killings of perceived enemies. There also seemed to be no limits in the amount of information he felt he was entitled to. He has also been implicated in causing opposition to Donald Trump since he left office (see Berkeley turns violent against Donald Trump supporters: Is violent protesting being advocated?<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Sadly, when it comes to data collection and espionage, I believe that Donald Trump believes the same way as Barack Obama.<\/p>\n

So, what are the possible prophetic ramifications of any of this?<\/p>\n

Basically, there are character and other issues.<\/p>\n

What is happening now is bigger than Barack Obama vs. Donald Trump.<\/p>\n

The USA is being more of a divided nation–which is not good (cf. (Matthew 12:25).<\/p>\n

There are two points I want to mention, from a prophetic perspective, related to Europe and the USA.<\/p>\n

The first is that the Snowden leaks and WikiLeaks have shown the Europeans that the USA does not trust Europe, considers Europe to be a second or third rate partner, has violated EU law, and that the USA has lied to Europe about this. The Europeans have documented proof now and will remember this. It would seem that this will be part of Europe’s justification to later successfully attack the USA, which it will per Daniel 11:39.<\/p>\n

The second is that the Obama Administration promised to share its espionage methods with Europe as penance, if you will, for the information that Edward Snowden and others released, plus promised to reduce espionage on Europe. By not spying as much on Europe, the USA will not be sufficiently aware of the disaster that will come to it once Europe is ready to attack. Furthermore, by teaching Europe how to better commit espionage, this will like help set Europe up for getting the ability to monitor buying and selling (Revelation 13:16-18), and even more than that.<\/p>\n

The leaks are showing the world that the USA does not have the moral high ground it has long claimed and this will not end up well for the USA.<\/p>\n
