The US Congressional Budget Office (CBO) is forecasting even greater USA government debt:<\/p>\n

March 30, 2017<\/p>\n

U.S. debt held by the public will balloon to 150 percent of economic output by 2047 unless tax and spending laws are changed, the Congressional Budget Office said on Thursday, far exceeding the record level just after World War II.<\/p>\n

The new projections show steeper 30-year debt growth than last year’s long-term forecast by the non-partisan budget analysis agency, and could make it harder for some members of Congress to support a tax reform plan that is partly financed with higher deficits.<\/p>\n

Last year, the CBO estimated U.S. public debt would grow to 141 percent of gross domestic product by 2046, while the record was 106 percent of GDP in 1946. That level would be reached in 2035, the CBO said.<\/p>\n

Under this year’s projection, CBO predicts public debt for 2017 to be about 77 percent of GDP, growing to 89 percent in 2027, and 113 percent in 2037.<\/p>\n

The new forecasts assume that the Affordable Care Act, the healthcare law known as Obamacare that House Republicans failed to replace last week, stays in place for the long term.<\/p>\n

The projected debt growth reflects CBO’s estimates of the rising costs of caring for a growing population of people over 65, growth in interest costs, and assumptions of slower economic growth due to reduced assumptions about productivity gains.<\/p>\n

Annual deficits are expected to average 8.6 percent of GDP in the 2038-2047 period versus 2.9 percent expected for 2017 and 4.0 percent for the 2018-2027 period.\u00a0http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-usa-congress-debt-idUSKBN171212<\/a><\/p>\n

Federal budget deficits in the United States will more than triple over the next three decades, leading to a record level of publicly held debt by 2047, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) projected Thursday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Budget deficits \u2014 the differences between U.S. yearly revenues and expenditures \u2014 are set to increase from 2.9 percent to 9.8 percent by 2047, skyrocketing the federal debt from 77 to 150 percent of the country\u2019s GDP, according to the CBO\u2019s long-term budget projection released Thursday.<\/p>\n

Most of the increase in deficits is projected to come from rapidly expanding Social Security and Medicare costs, as baby boomers leave the workforce and begin collecting benefits. The CBO’s troubling conclusion:<\/p>\n

Greater Chance of a Fiscal Crisis. <\/strong>A large and continuously growing federal debt would increase the chance of a fiscal crisis in the United States. Specifically, investors might become less willing to finance federal borrowing unless they were compensated with high returns. If so, interest rates on federal debt would rise abruptly, dramatically increasing the cost of government borrowing.<\/strong> That increase would reduce the market value of outstanding government securities, and investors could lose money. The resulting losses for mutual funds, pension funds, insurance companies, banks, and other holders of government debt might be large enough to cause some financial institutions to fail, creating a fiscal crisis<\/strong>. An additional result would be a higher cost for private-sector borrowing because uncertainty about the government\u2019s responses could reduce confidence in the viability of private-sector enterprises.<\/p>\n

\u00a0It is impossible for anyone to accurately predict whether or when such a fiscal crisis might occur in the United States.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Well, apparently those at the CBO do not believe the God of the Bible as a major crisis related to debt already has been accurately predicted.<\/p>\n

God is clear that He makes prophetic statements and causes them to be fulfilled:<\/p>\n

\nI will also bring it to pass.
\nI have purposed it;

Fulfilled prophecy is part of the proof that God exists and should be real to your life EVERYDAY!<\/p>\n

God prophesied that debt was a curse to the disobedient:<\/p>\n

15 “But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you: (Deuteronomy 28:15)<\/p>\n

43 “The alien who is among you shall rise higher and higher above you, and you shall come down lower and lower. 44 He shall lend to you, but you shall not lend to him; he shall be the head, and you shall be the tail.<\/p>\n

45 “Moreover all these curses shall come upon you and pursue and overtake you, until you are destroyed, because you did not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you. 46 And they shall be upon you for a sign and a wonder, and on your descendants forever.<\/p>\n

47 “Because you did not serve the Lord your God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of everything, 48 therefore you shall serve your enemies, whom the Lord will send against you, in hunger, in thirst, in nakedness, and in need of everything; and He will put a yoke of iron on your neck until He has destroyed you. 49 The Lord will bring a nation against you from afar, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flies, a nation whose language you will not understand, 50 a nation of fierce countenance, which does not respect the elderly nor show favor to the young. 51 And they shall eat the increase of your livestock and the produce of your land, until you are destroyed; they shall not leave you grain or new wine or oil, or the increase of your cattle or the offspring of your flocks, until they have destroyed you. The end result of the coming massive financial crisis will be the END OF THE USA!<\/p>\n

But the USA is not sufficiently concerned,<\/p>\n

Nobody knows debt better than me. I’ve made a fortune by using debt and if things don’t work out, I renegotiate the debt. Well, you go back and you say, ‘hey, guess what? The economy just crashed. I’m going to give you back half. (“Trump recession”? Presumptive GOP nominee fires back at Clinton. CBS, June 22, 2016)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Bible warns against Donald Trump’s attitude about debt repayment:<\/p>\n

21<\/sup> The wicked borrows and does not repay, But the righteous shows mercy and gives. \u00a0(Psalms 37:21)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Bible also teaches that the result of debt accumulation will\u00a0 be far worse than even many pessimists believe. Here is an end-time prophecy given to the prophet Habakkuk by God over 2600 years ago:<\/p>\n

2 <\/strong>And the Lord answered me:<\/p>\n

\u201cWrite the vision;
\nmake it plain on tablets,
\nso he may run who reads it.
\n3 <\/strong>For still the vision awaits its appointed time;
\nit hastens to the end\u2014it will not lie.
\nIf it seems slow, wait for it;
\nit will surely come; it will not delay.<\/p>\n

4 <\/strong>\u201cBehold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him,

The USA is the most indebted nation in the history of humanity and those in it should try to understand this prophecy.<\/p>\n

The CBO does not think anyone knows how this will end, but the Bible is clear that the highly indebted will be taken over.<\/p>\n

The Anglo-American world order will come to an end. Accumulation of debt, and then having to pay historically ‘normal’ interest rates will strain the national economies of the USA and UK more than almost anyone will believe.<\/p>\n

Those who think the current world order with the USA\u2019s dollar on top will last through the end of this century are in error.<\/p>\n

Those who will believe the Bible will take the words that God spoke to the prophet Habakkuk seriously.<\/p>\n

While the end will NOT come in 2017, the debt situation is expected to get worse.<\/p>\n

One day it will be a disaster, and one much, much worse than what the CBO, Donald Trump, or pundits seem to realize.<\/p>\n
