A gunman unleashed a barrage of gunfire Wednesday at a park in Alexandria, Va., as Republican members of Congress held a morning baseball practice, wounding five people, including House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (La.).<\/p>\n

President Trump said the suspected gunman \u2014 identified by multiple law enforcement officials as James T. Hodgkinson III, 66, from Illinois \u2014 was killed in a shootout with police, two of whom were wounded in the gun battle.<\/p>\n

Two now-inaccessible Facebook accounts under the name of James Hodgkinson, and purporting to be located in Belleville, Ill., were full of posts supporting Sanders and opposing Trump.<\/p>\n

“Trump is a Traitor. Trump Has Destroyed Our Democracy. It’s Time to Destroy Trump & Co.,” one of the pages posted in March. That post linked to a petition<\/a> calling for Trump’s impeachment “and or legal removal.”<\/p>\n

The account called Bernie Sanders “a Candidate of a Lifetime” while expressing distrust of Hillary Clinton.<\/p>\n

“Make America Great Again, Resign!” the other account posted in June, with a photo of Trump.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

SAN FRANCISCO \u2015\u00a0<\/strong>At least two people have died after a shooting in San Francisco\u2019s Potrero Hill neighborhood on Wednesday morning, according to numerous<\/a>reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The shooter is\u00a0\u201cdown\u201d and has a self-inflicted wound, local outlet\u00a0KQED<\/a>\u00a0reported, citing a San Francisco Police Department officer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The incident occurred around 9 a.m. local time at a UPS facility, the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management said.\u00a0At least one employee\u00a0recognized<\/a>\u00a0the shooter as a fellow UPS worker, The San Francisco Chronicle reported. http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/entry\/san-francisco-shooting_us_59416133e4b09ad4fbe4ddef<\/a><\/p>\n

San Francisco authorities say they’re interviewing the families of victims and witnesses to piece together what led a gunman to open fire in a UPS warehouse.<\/p>\n

Assistant Police Chief Toney Chaplin told reporters Wednesday that authorities found two victims outside and others inside, calling it a “frightful scene.”<\/p>\n

He says officers didn’t fire at the gunman, but that he shot himself when they confronted him.<\/p>\n

Chaplin says authorities won’t release the names of the three who were killed and the gunman who took his own life until the medical examiner confirms their identities and families are notified. http:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/wireStory\/latest-hospital-multiple-california-shooting-victims-48036675<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Killing and terrorizing others is not the way to deal with political matters nor employment ones.<\/p>\n

FAIRFIELD (CBS SF) \u2014 Travis Air Force Base is on lock down due to reports of an active shooter on the base.<\/p>\n

Shortly after 4:20 p.m., a public information officer at the base, located just outside Fairfield in Solano County, said no casualties had been reported.<\/p>\n

Officials at the base are urging people to lock their doors and windows and shelter in place. http:\/\/sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com\/2017\/06\/14\/shelter-in-place-travis-air-force-base\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Bible warns:<\/p>\n

25 … There shall be terror within<\/strong> (Deuteronomy 32:25)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There is violence in the USA.<\/p>\n

Violence, itself, often begets violence. So, sadly, we seem to be seeing more and more shootings and terror.<\/p>\n

The Bible teaches:<\/p>\n

9 ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Enough, O princes of Israel! Remove violence and plundering, execute justice and righteousness (Ezekiel 45:9)<\/p>\n

9…You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. (Romans 13:9-10)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As far as violence goes, the Bible shows that God is against violence and that destruction will come because of it:<\/p>\n

23 ‘Make a chain,
\nFor the land is filled with crimes of blood,
\nAnd the city is full of violence.<\/strong>
\n24 Therefore I will bring the worst of the Gentiles,
\nAnd they will possess their houses;
\nI will cause the pomp of the strong to cease,
\nAnd their holy places shall be defiled. (Ezekiel 7:23-24)<\/p>\n

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting<\/strong>; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality…30…violent<\/strong>, proud, boasters,…31…unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them<\/strong>. (Romans 1:28-32)<\/p>\n

8…And the violence of the land and the city, And of all who dwell in it. ( Habakkuk 2:8)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Notice the violence is prophesied to result in the worst of the Gentiles to come and take possession of houses–this will happen to the USA during the Great Tribulation (see also When Will the Great Tribulation Begin?<\/a>).<\/p>\n

There will be more violence in the USA.<\/p>\n
