Mark 13: Temple, Four Horsemen, Troubles, Great Tribulation, and Gospel Proclamation <\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This is the fifth part of a multi-part sermon series covering the entire Gospel According to Mark. In it, Dr. Thiel begins with Mark 13:1 and covers all the verses in that chapter. He goes over some proposed locations of the ancient Jewish temple in Jerusalem, signs of the end, the four horsemen of the apocalypse and their ties to the beginning of sorrows, persecutions, the great tribulation, the place of safety, the pre-tribulation rapture theory, Israel and the fig tree, 1947\/1948, and theories associated with the start of the Great Tribulation. He points people to the Bible and warns them to not be deceived by mathematical calculations, signs, or lying wonders. The need to proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to all nations as well as Jesus’ admonition to heed, pray, and watch is also discussed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
