Organizers of both events blamed inadequate security measures for their changed plans. … Gibson has said in Facebook videos that he’s been unfairly painted as a white supremacist by politicians when he is himself a person of color. He said the Crissy Fields event was for moderates and a way to bring together people who believe in free speech and a way “to build a healthy culture to stand against against antifa, Communists, white supremacists, Nazis.”<\/p>\n “It’s not a white supremacist rally,” Gibson said in a Facebook video.<\/a> “Let’s not freak out. Let’s not have a meltdown. Let’s not have violence. Let’s calm down.”<\/p>\n Gibson is not listed as an extremist by the Southern Poverty Law Center. http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2017\/08\/25\/us\/san-francisco-berkeley-rallies\/index.html<\/a><\/p>\n August 26, 2017<\/p>\n After decades of relative obscurity, the fringe “antifa” movement is becoming a household name …<\/p>\n But the movement is still loosely defined and organized, making it difficult to get a grip on its size and aims.<\/p>\n Professor Mark Bray, a historian and lecturer at Dartmouth, has tried to fill the gap in his new book, “Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook,” that chronicles its rise. While Bray doesn’t participate in the group’s protests, he nonetheless considers himself an ally.<\/p>\n President Donald Trump called out the antifa movement by name at an Arizona rally last week, but they\u2019ve attracted criticism from conservative and liberal commentators alike for its use of violent protest to shut down public events featuring far-right speakers. Bray has attracted his own criticism: Dartmouth\u2019s president put out a statement<\/a> distancing the college from any “endorsement of violence” after Bray defended antifa tactics on Meet The Press.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n So, there are concerns that the ‘left’ and the ‘right’ may clash again and there is a professor publicly defending violence from the ‘left.’ Groups like ‘antifa’ have also been protesting statues they do not like. The mainstream media has encouraged such protests.<\/p>\n But notice how far some on the left side of the media have gone:<\/p>\n \u201cWhy won\u2019t Charles Barkley shut … up?\u201d <\/strong><\/em>asks<\/a> a clearly triggered Michael Harriot, whose story is filed under the category \u201cStupid Negroes\u201d.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n \u201cIs there anyone who thinks that Barkley\u2019s statements about race reveal anything other than his repeated willingness to throw black people under the bus for our stupid unwillingness to assimilate into whiteness?\u201d he rants.<\/p>\n Barkley\u2019s thought crime was to encourage black people to concentrate less on getting angry over historical monuments and more on getting an education<\/strong>, working hard and being successful. He also said black people \u201cneed to stop killing each other.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI think if you ask most black people to be honest, they ain\u2019t thought a day in their life about those stupid statues. Many parts of society are becoming intolerant–and improperly so.<\/p>\n While the mainstream media has been highly focused against rallies by the ‘right,’ they have tended to endorse, or at least ‘look the other way,’ when violence and totalitarian bullying tactics come from the left.\u00a0 But not always:<\/p>\n August 26, 2017<\/p>\n While over 300,000 Americans have signed a petition<\/a> demanding the US government formally recognize AntiFa a terrorist organization (and some ‘cells’ calling for “all-out revolution”<\/a>), the US mainstream media continues to provide cover for the violent leftist organization<\/strong> (as do college professors<\/a>). However, in Europe, German authorities have banned the most influential AntiFa website in the wake of violence that occured last month outside the G20 summit<\/strong> in Hamburg. …<\/p>\n The violent clashes between the Antifa and police led to around 476 police officers being injured, while around 186 demonstrators were arrested and 225 were temporarily detained.<\/p>\n The Interior Ministry said the website was shut down because it \u201cgoes directly against the law in both its aims and actions,\u201d<\/strong> Spiegel reported<\/a>. http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2017-08-26\/germany-bans-extremist-antifa-website-legitimizing-violence-against-cops<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n So, a ‘leftist’ website was shut down.<\/p>\n The violent perpetrators on the left and right share a love of the wrong thing. Whether they are politically left or right should not be the issue.<\/p>\n White racism is wrong. Black racism is wrong. Violence in protests is wrong.<\/p>\n In order to try to further protect the rights of the citizens of the USA nation, the Bill of Rights<\/em> came into effect as Constitutional Amendments on December 15, 1791. Here is the first amendment:<\/p>\n We have seen troubles with people who wish to peaceably assemble. Violent agitators, some of which are professional (meaning that someone pays them to attend and stir up trouble), often attend what is supposed to be a peaceful assembly. This includes antifa as well as others on the left and right.<\/p>\n Expect more protests and counter-protests in the future.<\/p>\n Here is something I warned about here in September 2016:<\/p>\n For years I have warned that more civil unrest was coming to the USA. We have already seen a re-emergence of civil unrest already in 2015 and 2016.<\/p>\n That does not mean that I agree that globalists will necessarily trigger it etc. But the media certainly has fanned the flames in the past and I expect them to do more such fanning in the future if Donald Trump were to win. Of course, it is not just from the media. Those involved in promoting racial hatred seem to want civil unrest. The media, though, seems to often fan the flames.<\/p>\n The Bible warns:<\/p>\n 25 \u2026 There shall be terror within<\/strong> (Deuteronomy 32:25)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n There is violence in the USA.<\/p>\n Notice also the following from the prophet Amos:<\/p>\n 9 \u2018Assemble on the mountains of Samaria; See great tumults in her midst, And the oppressed within her. 10 For they do not know to do right, \u2018Says the Lord, \u2018Who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.’\u201d (Amos 3:9-10)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n The reference to Samaria is pointing to the USA (see also Spiritual Samaritans: Old and New<\/a>). The above is consistent with both civil unrest and terrorism. Expect more to hit the USA. Many of the right and left feel oppressed, they do not know how to do right, and they have stored up violence, and in ‘protests’ can display violence and robbery.<\/p>\n Violence, itself, often begets violence. So, sadly, we seem to be seeing more and more protests and terror.<\/p>\n The Bible teaches:<\/p>\n 9 \u2018Thus says the Lord God: \u201cEnough, O princes of Israel! Remove violence and plundering, execute justice and righteousness (Ezekiel 45:9)<\/p>\n 9\u2026You shall love your neighbor as yourself.\u201d 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. (Romans 13:9-10)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n As far as violence goes, the Bible shows that God is against violence and that destruction will come because of it:<\/p>\n 23 \u2018Make a chain, 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting<\/strong>; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality\u202630\u2026violent<\/strong>, proud, boasters,\u202631\u2026unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them<\/strong>. (Romans 1:28-32)<\/p>\n 8\u2026And the violence of the land and the city, And of all who dwell in it. ( Habakkuk 2:8)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Notice the violence is prophesied to get worse.<\/p>\n So much so that Gentiles will one day come and take possession of houses\u2013this will happen to the USA during the Great Tribulation (see also When Will the Great Tribulation Begin?<\/a>).<\/p>\n Partially because of that, we have seen many speakers and protests cancelled by US government authorities this year.<\/p>\n The time of Jacob\u2019s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7), also known as the Great Tribulation<\/a> (Matthew 24:21), is coming and the USA and its Anglo-Saxon allies (including Canada) will be affected.<\/p>\n National repentance is the only way to prevent it, and that does not look likely. The advocacy of homosexuality<\/a> and abortion<\/a>, and increased indebtedness and acceptance of various forms of pornography<\/a> (including what would be considered soft pornography involving the current ‘first lady’ of the USA) that we have seen the past few years suggests that national repentance is about the furthest thing on the minds of the national political leaders and most of the mainstream media in the USA.<\/p>\n Personal repentance, however, is still possible.
