Fatima and the ‘Miracle of the Sun’<\/a><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Starting on May 13, 1917, a Lady made visits to Fatima, Portugal. She was seen by three children (Lucia de Santos, Francisco Marto, and Jacinta Marto) once per month for six months. The Lady of Fatima predicted that something would happen on October 13, 1917 that would get all to believe. What happened in the sky that day was called “the miracle of the sun.” Tens of thousands reportedly saw it. Does this sign prove that this was Jesus’ mother Mary? Do the messages given by the Lady prove or disprove her identity? Can you be certain? Are there future ramifications of any of this? What have pontiffs thought? Are there ecumenical and interfaith issues associated with Fatima? Dr. Thiel answers these questions with quotes from the Bible, the Lady, Catholic sources, and Lucia Santos.<\/p>\n
