California To Have Harsher Penalty For Pronoun Violations Than For Knowingly Spreading HIV<\/h2>\n

Beginning in 2018,<\/strong> California law will have harsher penalties for health care workers who address a senior transgender patient with the \u201cwrong\u201d pronouns than for people who knowingly infect others with HIV.<\/p>\n

California Gov. Jerry Brown signed<\/a> legislation on Friday lowering the maximum penalty for knowingly infecting or exposing a person to HIV to six months in prison – down from a maximum of eight years. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Also last week, Brown signed legislation allowing for penalties of up to one year in jail for health care workers who \u201cwillfully and repeatedly\u201d use the \u201cwrong\u201d pronouns to refer to a senior transgender patient.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Democratic state Sen. Scott Weiner sponsored both pieces of legislation.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cThe most effective way to reduce HIV infections is to destigmatize HIV,\u201d <\/strong>Weiner told CNN.<\/div>\n

\u201cTo make people comfortable talking about their infection, get tested, get into treatment.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Weiner has also dismissed concerns about religious freedom regarding the criminal punishments for health care workers who don\u2019t use transgender pronouns.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cEveryone is entitled to their religious view,\u201d he said.<\/div>\n

\u201cBut when you enter the public space, when you are running an institution, you are in a workplace, you are in a civil setting, and you have to follow the law.\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Opponents of the legislation disagreed.<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cHow can you believe in free speech, but think the government can compel people to use certain pronouns when talking to others?\u201d <\/strong>Greg Burt of the California Family Council testified in July.<\/div>\n

\u201cThis is not tolerance. This is not love. This is not mutual respect. True tolerance tolerates people with different views. We need to treat each other with respect, but respect is a two-way street.<\/strong> It is not respectful to threaten people with punishment for having sincerely held beliefs that differ from your own.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Brown also signed<\/a> another law last week that shortened the length of time some sex offenders have to remain on the sex offender registry.<\/p>\n

Did you know that in California, it is the law to teach homosexual and transgender history? This law was signed back in 2011:<\/p>\n

Democratic California Gov. For those unfamiliar, here is how Wikipedia<\/em> defines being \u201ctransgendered\u201d (viewed 06\/24\/13):<\/p>\n

Transgender is the state of one\u2019s gender identity (self-identification as woman, man, neither or both) not matching one\u2019s assigned sex (identification by others as male, female or intersex based on physical\/genetic sex)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A week or two ago, I saw a complaint from the LGBTQ crowd that they objected that California school books on history do NOT go far enough to promote LGBTQ people. They are not satisfied and want to dominate discussions.<\/p>\n

And yes, they want to make freedom of religion and speech subject to their whims, irrespective of what some claim.<\/p>\n

Gender is essentially binary and this transgender movement is atrocious.<\/p>\n

The Bible teaches:<\/p>\n

5 A woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment; for whosoever doeth these things is an abomination unto the LORD thy God. (Deuteronomy 22:5, JPS Tanakh 1917)<\/p>\n

20 Woe unto them that call evil good, And good evil; That change darkness into light, And light into darkness; That change bitter into sweet, And sweet into bitter! (Isaiah 5:20, JPS Tanakh 1917)<\/p>\n

27 And God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. (Genesis 1:27, JPS Tanakh 1917)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The New Testament also condemn aspects of the transgender movement:<\/p>\n

9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, KJV)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Much associated with the Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgender-Queer (LGBTQ) agenda is an abomination to God. And that agenda is also targeting children.<\/p>\n

As far as ‘religious protections’ are concerned, they are becoming more limited. Despite what some states are doing (Mississippi comes to mind): expect those protections to erode and criticism of transgenderism to be hate speech and\/or discriminatory.<\/p>\n

What should parents do to reduce ‘gender confusion’? Consider the following:<\/p>\n

6 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. (Deuteronomy 6:6-9)<\/p>\n

6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The LGBTQ agenda brings to mind the following from the New Testament:<\/p>\n

22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man \u2014 and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.<\/p>\n

24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.<\/p>\n

26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.<\/p>\n

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. (Romans 1:22-32)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Notice that the Bible condemns not only sexual immorality, but those who approve of various forms of it. BTW, in Canada, they do not want people teaching those passages of Romans 1 (watch Canadian censoring of the Bible<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Despite biblical warnings, many modern leaders are endorsing the LGBTQ agenda. The Bible, however, warns about such leaders:<\/p>\n

12\u2026Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths. (Isaiah 3:12)<\/p>\n

16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err, And those who are led by them are destroyed (Isaiah 9:16).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So, leaders that ignore what the Bible teaches are leading others toward destruction. Perhaps I should mention that there are two bills in the Congress of the USA that will make all of this LGBT situation even worse–for some details watch Is the US Congress eliminating the 1st Amendment?<\/a><\/p>\n

The USA will, within the next couple of decades, be no more. The agenda that many are pushing for cannot succeed and will contribute to its decline and ultimate destruction:<\/p>\n

20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Promoting transgender ‘rights’ is putting darkness for light. Donald Trump may slow some of this down, but as California is showing, he has not stopped it.<\/p>\n

Because of speech ‘laws’ and actions, the time will more and more come when the following is fulfilled:<\/p>\n

13 Therefore the prudent keep silent at that time, For it is an evil time. (Amos 5:13)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Until then, however, we in the Continuing<\/em> Church of God are striving to fulfill the following:<\/p>\n

1 “Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins. (Isaiah 58:1)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The LGBTQ agenda is sinful and it promotes abomination. This agenda is another one of the sins of the ‘house of Jacob,’ which includes the USA (see Anglo \u2013 America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel<\/a>). This will not end well for the USA (Romans 1:32; Daniel 11:39).<\/p>\n

Additional comment: California is having wildfires (see Killer wildfires continue to scorch California’s wine country, with 21 dead and hundreds missing<\/a>)–God does control the weather (though humans also directly cause wildfires).<\/p>\n
