While Davos is going on and the world is watching Europe and the USA, The Guardian<\/em> put out the following:<\/p>\n

Never mind Brexit, or even Europe. The future is Eurasian<\/h2>\n

Europe is disappearing. Not because \u2013 as you often hear \u2013 we are returning to a world of small nations, proud and sovereign, but because Europe is being replaced by a much vaster and more interesting geographic unit: Eurasia, the combination of the two continents of Europe and Asia, stretching from Lisbon to Shanghai or Jakarta. The rise of Asia forces us to place the continents on the same level, no longer separated by different levels of historical development. New connecting infrastructure, trade and the permeability of borders are drawing the whole of Eurasia together.<\/p>\n

The important question today is not what Europe will look like in the future, but what Eurasia will become. What balance will the western peninsula of the supercontinent \u2013 the European Union<\/a> \u2013 be able to establish with Russia, China and India? What dangerous game of influence will these four main actors be playing in the crowded space created by the end of the cold war and the rise of Asian economic power? Influence now flows in both directions, no longer only from west to east. In this new Eurasian age, the notion that Europeans are special \u2013 that a wall separates them from Asia \u2013 is quickly being exposed as a pious fiction. …<\/p>\n

If the great question of our century is how Europe and Asia will be connected, the UK could yet become one of the most important hinges holding the supercontinent together. Let it embrace its immigrant communities, so many of them coming from South Asia and Hong Kong. …<\/p>\n

Is a new Eurasian capital being born on the shores of the Thames? It would be perhaps a proper ending to Europe\u2019s story, as the country most responsible for taking European ideas to Asia becomes a new host for Asian ideas in Europe. https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/commentisfree\/2018\/jan\/24\/brexit-europe-future-eurasian-europeans-asia<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A new Eurasian capital is not being born on the shores of the Thames in London.<\/p>\n

Despite claims above, from a prophetic perspective, yes Europe is special. And there are important prophetic ramifications of Brexit (watch Post Brexit Prophecy<\/a>).<\/p>\n

It is not that Russia, China, and the others that are normally considered Eurasian do not have a prophetic role–because they do (cf. Daniel 11:44-45; see also The Eurasian Union, the Kings of the East, and Bible Prophecy<\/a> and watch also Is China paving roads to Armageddon?<\/a>). However, Europe itself is prophesied to rise up (cf. Daniel 11:29-43, Revelation 13:1-10; see also Europa, the Beast, and Revelation<\/a>).<\/p>\n

And one thing a risen Europe will do is takeover the USA and the UK (cf. Daniel 8:24-25, 11:39).<\/p>\n

London will not be a UK governed city that will be the capital of Eurasia–it and the USA will be conquered.<\/p>\n

Those who doubt that, but respect the Bible, should at least consider the following:<\/p>\n

39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain (Daniel 11:39).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The “he” is the European\u00a0King of the North<\/a> power (watch also Can You Prove that the Beast to Come is European?<\/a>). And in the 21st century, it is currently the USA, and to a lessor extent its Anglo-Saxon descended allies, that have the “strongest fortresses.” The USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand will one day be defeated by a European power. Now, that power will likely get some assistance from the Eurasian nations. Yet, the Bible is clear that it is the European power that will rule over the world (cf. Revelation 17 and 18).<\/p>\n

The Bible teaches:<\/p>\n

7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7)<\/span><\/p>\n

10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” <\/span>(Revelation 19:10)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Writers for secular publications, like The Guardian,<\/em> do not accept biblical prophecy as important, hence they tend to walk by sight.<\/p>\n

But biblical prophecies have come to pass and will come to pass.<\/p>\n

Now, the Bible does show that Eurasia will rise up and deal with Europe:<\/p>\n

9 For behold, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon
\nAn assembly of great nations from the north country<\/strong>,
\nAnd they shall array themselves against her;
\nFrom there she shall be captured.
\nTheir arrows shall be like those of an expert warrior;
\nNone shall return in vain. (Jeremiah 50:9)<\/p>\n

50:41 Behold, a people shall come from the north<\/strong>,
\nAnd a great nation and many kings
\nShall be raised up from the ends of the earth<\/strong>.
\n42 They shall hold the bow and the lance;
\nThey are cruel and shall not show mercy.
\nTheir voice shall roar like the sea;
\nThey shall ride on horses,
\nSet in array, like a man for the battle,
\nAgainst you, O daughter of Babylon. (Jeremiah 50:41-42).<\/p>\n

2 \u201cLift up a banner on the high mountain,Raise your voice to them; Wave your hand, that they may enter the gates of the nobles. 3 I have commanded My sanctified ones; I have also called My mighty ones for My anger\u2013Those who rejoice in My exaltation.\u201d 4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, Like that of many people! A tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together!<\/strong> The LORD of hosts musters The army for battle. 5 They come from a far country<\/strong>, From the end of heaven\u2013The LORD and His weapons of indignation,To destroy the whole land. 6 Wail, for the day of the LORD is at hand!It will come as destruction from the Almighty. 7 Therefore all hands will be limp, Every man\u2019s heart will melt, 8 And they will be afraid. Pangs and sorrows will take hold of them; They will be in pain as a woman in childbirth; They will be amazed at one another; Their faces will be like flames (Isaiah 13:1-8).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The accounts in Jeremiah and Isaiah seem related to the same invaders. This is referring to an end time confederation that has a distance to travel\u2013apparently a type of union of powers from the east including Russia, who is also the major power of the far north.<\/p>\n

Yet, the rise of Eurasia this way does not happen until several years AFTER the USA and UK are taken over,<\/p>\n

So, while the article in The Guardian<\/em> is correct that Eurasia will one day rise up, Europe will itself rise up and should be watched.<\/p>\n

As Jesus said: “And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!” <\/span>(Mark 13:37).<\/p>\n
