Believe or not, I received the following email earlier this morning:<\/p>\n

I enjoy your website with the resources of Church History and COG truths but have noticed an attitude of hatred towards Mr. Weinland. Lately you have not written much about him where usually every sermon you detail his every word to try to disprove him as a man of God being used by God. Is there any reason for this? Are there signs you are seeing that your not sharing? Such as personal health. And if personal health, will you admit so that others that you have effected may start to repent. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Can you be honest with your audience about your personal health?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Hope you can humble yourself and repent from your blindness and destruction you have been spewing as an instrument of Satan.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

My response was:<\/p>\n

In all due respect, you have totally misjudged this situation.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

First, I did mention Ronald Weinland in my Sunday post. It is not needful to post about him every day as he is not providing useful information very often these days.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Second, I do not hate Ronald Weinland–I have warned for years that he is a false prophet. And the facts have proved that I, and not Ronald Weinland, have been correct.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Third, there is nothing wrong with my health. His curse was not effective. If my health was such a problem I would not be able to post news items each day as I have been, travel to Asia Minor and back which I did last month (there are even pictures of me posted from that recent trip which show that I am in fine health), and go to work 5 days per week which I have been doing since returning.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Fourth, I am still covering Ronald Weinland. It is just that he has not said or done anything the last few days that I am aware of. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Fifth, I do not listen to all of Ronald Weinland’s sermons. However, I heard that he said nothing of value last weekend–hence there was nothing to cover. Ronald Weinland also has not posted any letter since over a month ago, nor a speaking schedule past last weekend. It is he you should contact to explain why none of what he prophesied has come to pass and why he as a self-appointed “witness” has nothing of prophetic value to say.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

I am disappointed that some people still give him credibility when his predictions of COG deaths, nuclear destruction, etc. have not come to pass. Recall that in his March 29, 2008 sermon he stated:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

If by Pentecost I\u2019m just going to make this real clear to everyone. If by Pentecost it is not powerfully and abundantly clear that there has been a great deal of destruction that will clearly encompass a third of all plant life in the US<\/strong> and at least the clear results of this mingled with blood the death of very much animal life and the beginning of large numbers of human life then I will stop preaching<\/strong>. Just so all the critics and everyone out there will understand. I am true to my word in these things. OK? And for all the critics if by the end of July and for most likely around Pentecost if nothing has clearly caused great destruction and death I will make it very clear that I was a false prophet. I will do exactly what I said I would do on all of those interviews that I have held; to do less, aah well, would be quite insane<\/strong>. (Weinland R. And since this massive destruction has not come to pass (Pentecost was last Sunday, June 8, 2008), it should be clear to even his supporters that Ronald Weinland is a false prophet.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

People such as yourself need to check out what he says and compare it to world events and the Bible. If you do that, then you would not be giving him any credibility.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

I have been covering Ronald Weinland for years–longer than any I am aware of on the internet. And thus far, it is he who has had to re-explain why he misunderstood what he claimed earlier that God supposedly revealed to him. I have stuck to the truths of the Bible and have not had his problems.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Later this week–maybe today, I may post what you sent me as I believe it highlights the desperation of those that are following him.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The truth is that the first event that Ronald Weinland said was supposed to happen was the deaths of a variety of COG leaders (please see Ronald Weinland Again Calls for Death<\/a>)–and none of those have died. The fact that Ronald Weinland now desperately seems to point to other events (the economy, weather problems in Asia, etc.) shows that he was always a false prophet.<\/p>\n

I was never worried that somehow God would strike me with a deadly disease as Ronald Weinland indicated 6 or 7 weeks ago (Ronald Weinland Again Calls for Death<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Why?<\/p>\n

Because here is what the Bible teaches about self-appointed false prophets:<\/p>\n

…when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him (Deuteronomy 18:22).<\/p>\n

What Ronald Weinland has been predicting for years simply has not come to pass.<\/p>\n
