\u201cThis bill would require any person who operates a social media, as defined, internet Web site with a physical presence in California to develop a strategic plan to verify news stories shared on its Web site. The bill would require the plan to include, among other things, a plan to mitigate the spread of false information through news stories, the utilization of fact-checkers to verify news stories, providing outreach to social media users, and placing a warning on a news story containing false information.\u201d<\/p>\n

In lawmaker-speak, the reference to \u201cfact-checkers\u201d means only workers\u00a0approved by the state.<\/p>\n

It provides:<\/p>\n

(a) Any person who operates a social media Internet Web site with physical presence in California shall develop a strategic plan to verify news stories shared on its Internet Web site.
\n(b) The strategic plan shall include, but is not limited to, all of the following:
\n(1) A plan to mitigate the spread of false information through news stories.
\n(2) The utilization of fact-checkers to verify news stories.
\n(3) Providing outreach to social media users regarding news stories containing false information.
\n(4) Placing a warning on a news story containing false information.
\n(c) As used in this section, \u201csocial media\u201d means an electronic service or account, or electronic content, including, but not limited to, videos, still photographs, blogs, video blogs, podcasts, instant and text messages, email, online services or accounts, or Internet Web site profiles or locations.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

While SB1424 sounds \u2018unconstitutional,\u2019 government officials have allowed enough \u2018exceptions\u2019 to US Constitutional freedoms (particularly since 9\/11) to suggest something like this is possible.<\/p>\n

With electronic media, \u201cbig brother\u201d (the government) can watch you in ways that were not possible in the past. And, perhaps it should be mentioned that conceivably, everyone who posts on platforms such as Facebook is, in a literal sense, a blogger that the USA government may want to monitor (see DHS is monitoring all journalists, bloggers, and media influencers: Will this affect press freedom and lead to the fulfillment of prophecies?<\/a>). Jesus warned:<\/p>\n

4 \u2026 the night is coming when no one can work. (John 9:4, NKJV)<\/p>\n

The Prophet Amos was inspired to record the following:<\/p>\n

11 \u201cBehold, the days are coming,\u201d says the Lord God,

\nNor a thirst for water,
\nBut of hearing the words of the Lord.
\n12 They shall wander from sea to sea,
\nAnd from north to east;

The Bible clearly tells of a time that will come when the word of God will not be found. And that would seem to be, at least partially, because it will be taken off the internet. In the 21st century, the internet is accessed by people in every country, and thus some type of internet restriction\/suspension\/site removal is coming\u2013this will one day happen to the Continuing<\/em> Church of God! And the USA will be part of this.<\/p>\n

Doug Casey is correct that it will get more disagreeable in the USA. This is part of why we are preparing for the short work the Apostle Paul referred to in Romans 9:28 (see also Preparing for the ‘Short Work’ and The Famine of the Word<\/a>).<\/p>\n

But let me add, the USA will then get destroyed per Daniel 11:39 (see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses<\/a><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Now, everyone does not think that the USA will get physically destroyed.<\/p>\n

In many ways a world economic war could be far more disastrous than a nuclear one. In the event of economic collapse just as many people could very well perish as trade infrastructure and freight systems shut down, but the damage can be more easily directed and centrally controlled by financial elitists. Wealth can be shifted into any number of assets anywhere on the planet \u2014 so the idea that globalists have anything to lose in this scenario is rather naive. In the meantime, the banks plan to steal even more power for existing organizations like the IMF. As some countries suffer economic breakdown, globalist institutions will only grow.<\/p>\n

In a nuclear war, there is only pandemonium. In an economic war, centralized dominance remains possible. The greatest disaster would not be the tragedy of mass unemployment, degradation of infrastructure, loss of monetary stability or loss of reliable food and energy production. No, the greatest disaster would be the continued thriving of banking conglomerates and central bank organizations as large portions of the world crumble. Brandon Smith is correct that liberties are being lost. That is becoming more and more clear to those of us who believe that the Bible is the word of God.<\/p>\n

Brandon Smith is also correct that we will see a type of economic war. We are seeing the beginnings of international trade and currency wars now.<\/p>\n

But do not become so complacent that YOU do not believe that a nuclear (or worse) WWIII is coming.<\/p>\n

The Bible is clear that a devastating Great Tribulation will come. Notice some scriptures from Jesus and some of God’s prophets:<\/p>\n

The USA is the power with the “strongest fortresses” in the 21st century and is the most indebted nation of all time. The time is coming that the USA and its Anglo-Saxon allies will be no more. The end of Anglo-Saxon economic and industrial dominance is coming.<\/p>\n

And the Bible clearly teaches that military defeat will occur.<\/p>\n
