The group calling itself the Islamic State (also known as ISIL or ISIS) has a propaganda poster in Indonesia directed at destroying USA financial, scientific, and media influence:<\/p>\n

ISIS Threatens ‘Satanic’ CNN, Universal Studios Hollywood, NASA<\/h3>\n

Indonesian ISIS supporters circulated posters online warning that Satan is behind the American financial system as well as media and entertainment, threatening to attack a handful of entities.<\/p>\n

The first poster, telling adherents to “think smart,” shows a devilish figure looming over several icons in flames: the United Nations, the Federal Reserve, Universal Studios Hollywood, CNN, NATO\u00a0Allied Command Transformation and NASA, along with the reverse of the Great Seal on the U.S. dollar bill.<\/p>\n

The {poster} release comes as Indonesia has increasingly become a hotbed of Islamic terror and haven for extremists.<\/p>\n

“Indonesia increasingly has become a haven for Islamist extremists. And we’ve seen it not just in the society at large, but also in the government,”<\/em><\/strong> Mark Mitchell, acting assistant secretary for special operations and low-intensity conflict at the Defense Department. https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2018-04-21\/indonesian-isis-recruits-threaten-satanic-cnn-universal-studios-new-propaganda<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The poster has the gunman shouting \u201cAllahu akbar,\u201d which is something that many suicidal Islamic terrorists shout. Notice something about that:<\/p>\n

As the horrific news broke Tuesday that the driver of a Home Depot rental truck in New York City had mowed over pedestrians and bike riders, \u201cterrorism\u201d naturally came to the minds of most Americans.<\/p>\n

When reports began circulating that witnesses heard the perpetrator yell \u201cAllahu akbar,\u201d even law enforcement officials typically reluctant to apply the terrorism label to such incidents acknowledged they were looking at something more than a tragic accident.<\/p>\n

\u201cAllahu akbar\u201d is an Arabic phrase that has become significant in this post-9\/11 era, yet in the aftermath of the attack Tuesday in which eight people were killed and a dozen injured, official after official and news outlet after news outlet mistranslated it, insisting it means \u201cGod is great.\u201d<\/p>\n

An accurate translation \u2013 and even Google Translate affirms it \u2013 is \u201cAllah is the greatest\u201d or, literally, \u201cAllah is greater,\u201d as in the god Allah is greater than all other gods.<\/p>\n

The interpretation is important, contends Islam expert Robert Spencer, because it makes clear that the threat Western Civilization faces is rooted in a historic dogma of global conquest.<\/p>\n

<\/i>\u201c\u2018God is great\u2019 is a bland statement of piety. \u2018Allah is greater\u2019 is a declaration of supremacism and superiority, and of victory over the infidels,\u201d Spencer told WND.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe former is just an expression, the latter a declaration of war and of victory in that war,\u201d said Spencer, the director of Jihad Watch<\/a> and the author of 17 books about Islam. 11\/02\/17 http:\/\/www.wnd.com\/2017\/11\/why-media-officials-mistranslate-allahu-akbar\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

While the mainstream media, like MSN, has actually reported that, \u2018Allahu Akbar!\u2019 An Everyday Phrase, Tarnished by Attacks<\/a>, this is an attempt to diminish Islam’s real objectives. The “every day phrase” from Muslims is a daily reminder that conquest is what their religion is supposed to be about.<\/p>\n

The Islamic State wants war (jihad) and it is not unique in that view. It is held by many adherents to Islam.<\/p>\n

Islam encourages war, deceit, and terrorism. Here is something from the Islamic State’s publication Dabiq<\/em>:<\/p>\n

‘Jihad’ supposedly means ‘holy war.’<\/p>\n

While the USA does have problems, and many of its organizations promote sin (see, e.g, Pornography: A scourge on society<\/a>), and its dollar will one day no longer dominate the world economically (see, e.g., The End of US Dollar Dominance<\/a>), going around killing people in the name of Allah is not right.<\/p>\n

This will not be happening in the Kingdom of God<\/a>.<\/p>\n

ABU DHABI (Reuters) – Arab countries have finalised plans to create an independent, regional cross-border payments system after current arrangements were hit by a rise in compliance costs and downsizing by some international banks.<\/p>\n

At present, many cross-border payments and settlements among Arab countries are carried out by correspondent banks, which act as agents for foreign financial institutions that do not have a local presence in a given country.<\/p>\n

A tightening of anti-money laundering rules by U.S. and European banks in the last several years has added to the cost of this practice, while some banks have quit the market to focus on more lucrative areas.<\/p>\n

The board of the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF), which has 22 member countries ranging from Gulf states to Sudan and Morocco, approved the creation of an independent regional body to clear and settle payments among them, the AMF said on Sunday.<\/p>\n
