NEW YORK:<\/strong> China\u2019s \u201cOne Belt, One Road\u201d project, of which China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is a part, will bring economic prosperity to all nations through regional connectivity, Pakistan\u2019s Ambassador to the United Nations, Maleeha Lodhi, has said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe in Pakistan view the Chinese initiative as the most important 21st century enterprise,\u201d she said in an interview with Xinhua, China\u2019 state-run new agency.<\/p>\n

The mega, $46 billion project with 3,000 kms of roads, railways, pipelines and infrastructure programmes will connect China\u2019s Kashghar in Xinjiang province with Pakistan\u2019s Gwadar port. It is expected to help improve the lives of billions of people in China, South Asia and Central Asia, who would benefit from the economic corridor.<\/p>\n

CPEC is set to be completed in three phases by 2030.<\/p>\n

Iran will not renegotiate a 2015 nuclear deal with major powers, Iran’s foreign minister said on Thursday, as a deadline set by U.S. President Donald Trump for Europeans to “fix” the deal loomed.<\/p>\n

“Iran will not renegotiate what was agreed years ago and has been implemented … also we will reject any ratification of it,” Mohammad Javad Zarif said …<\/p>\n

PARIS\/BRUSSELS (Reuters) – European powers still want to hand Donald Trump next week a plan to save the Iran nuclear deal, but they have also started work on protecting EU-Iranian business ties if the U.S. president makes good on a threat to withdraw, six sources told Reuters.<\/p>\n

Trump, who says the 2015 accord is a \u201cdisaster\u201d, has all but decided to withdraw by May 12, U.S. officials say, and looks set to reject four months of European efforts to address his concerns. https:\/\/uk.reuters.com\/article\/uk-iran-nuclear-europe\/europeans-push-last-bid-to-salvage-iran-deal-but-work-on-plan-b-idUKKBN1I42EM<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Because its frozen assets were released, Iran has little incentive to renegotiate, or even stick to, the nuclear deal. The USA should realize that by now.<\/p>\n

As far as Iranian trade goes, Iran has indicated that it wants to join the EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union<\/a>), a Russia-dominated trade union. Presuming it does, Iran would be the first nation to join that was not part of the old Soviet Union. That may get other nations, including some that were in the old Soviet Union, to consider that the EAEU may be for them as well.<\/p>\n

Before going further, let me point out that despite what certain Protestant writers claim, we in the Continuing<\/em> Church of God<\/a> do not believe that Iran is about to align with Russia to fulfill Ezekiel 38 (two related videos are available titled Ezekiel 38: For Russia, Ukraine, & Iran Now?<\/a> and Russia, Iran, Syria, & the Bible (Code)<\/a>). Although there is cooperation with various nations, the time period for Ezekiel 38 is AFTER Jesus returns, not before (see also Ezekiel 38: For Russia & Iran in Our Day?<\/a>).<\/p>\n

But what about China’s One Belt, One Road Initiative, also known as the Silk Road Project?<\/p>\n

Well, it is proceeding.<\/p>\n

And parts are intended to be finished by 2030.<\/p>\n

We could well see the gathering at Armageddon by then AND have the Chinese\u00a0 ‘roads’ (some are actually shipping ports) used to transport soldiers and military equipment to gather at Armageddon.<\/p>\n

As far as Armageddon goes, the term Armaggedon is only used once in the Bible. It is the sixth of seven bowls of God\u2019s wrath:<\/p>\n

1 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, \u201cGo and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth.\u201d (Revelation 16:1)<\/p>\n

12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east<\/strong> might be prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.<\/p>\n

15 \u201cBehold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.\u201d<\/p>\n

16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon. (Revelation 16:12-16)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

For them to gather, they must cross over land to get to Armageddon. The Silk Road project will make that easier.<\/p>\n

The kings of the east reference refers to Asian nations, including Russia, whose border extends to the farthest parts of the east\u2013and China which is commonly believed to be part of the \u2018far east.\u2019<\/p>\n

The world order is in the process of realigning.<\/p>\n

As Jesus said: “And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!” <\/span>(Mark 13:37).<\/p>\n
